You and everybody you know are a sum of assorted chemicals destined to die in a relatively short time span and be remembered by nobody. The world is ruled by corruption and greed that ensures that good people finish last. It is socially unacceptable to develop your own opinions, or be intelligent in any way. In the end, nobody cares about anything that you do. Everything that humanity accomplishes will ultimately be undone. There are so many potential cataclysms creeping up that eventually life as we know it will be destroyed by one of them. People are eternally drawn ton conflict and will actively seek it, while holding a double standard of peace. People will never truly accept anything different because humans are naturally afraid of the unknown. The comfort of your daily life is built with the blood of generations of underprivileged workers, and is completely unsustainable. Politics are popularity contests that determine who will be the face of wherever you live, while the real decisions are made under the hood. Pretty much everything on Earth is deadly in some way, and is most likely slowly killing you. If you die tomorrow, nothing will change. There is nothing waiting for you after you die, and the formalities society forces on us simply make what little time we have less enjoyable. Life never gets better. Love is a man made creation. All well intentioned things, such as religion, will be corrupted and misused.

Also this is true I believe a lot awaits me in the afterlife which helps me overcome many painful circumstances.It made me a fighter .However I consider myself spiritual, not religious per se .

An unfortunate truth. 

please this was "A Sad Truth" back when I was 8. Now its more of a "Duh" kind of thing x) no matter how bad life seems, stick to your morals and live as "happy" as you can. I know it sounds corny, but in a world of sadness, worry, and hate, its seems pointless to go through the same thing day after day. but believe it or not, life is also filled with so much joy, so much excitement, everyone has SOMETHING that makes them smile, something that makes them think "wow, I'm so lucky" and its those things, (while insignificant to others) give us purpose, and strength to carry on day after day.

Meh, well, I'd kill myself 'cept I have shit to get done and coffee to drink.  As an addendum to what you said, when you get an idea of how mind-blowingly vast the universe is (though don't use my mind-blowing as a standard, as I'm the sort who'll drop everything if it means looking at or interacting with a doggie or a birdie), humans matter less than an electron in terms of scale.  There are stars bigger than our sun the same way our sun is bigger than Earth.  And black holes n' stuff.  Cracked.com is a great place to learn how insignificant we all are.  It happens to be my bible. @_@
