That Awkward Moment in School......

Posted

Where i just go on and on about either Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy and no one knows what I am talking about. Is this normal? Or(not being offensive) is this just a southern thing? Because I constantly try to find people within my school who at least heard of either one of them and so far I have found zero. So is this normal or am I just a black sheep within my school(Probably not looking hard enough)?

No one knows what I'm talking about when I mention anything along those lines either, so don't worry; you're not alone.  I've had this issue in any social gathering I've been a part of, actually.  I mention Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts and they stare at me like I'm crazy, hehe.

It's the same way in my school. No one really knows anything like that there, unfortunately.

It's the same in my school. xD there is one student in my class named Axel, who is a huge fan of Kingdom Hearts. He's probably the only student in the entire school who actually knows what "Kingdom of Hearts" is. :(

Same thing here as well. Not even the big gaming kid at my school cares about KH.

I'm laughing so hard at this right now

Mind control is happening slowly.......very slowly.

I know only 1 person in my school that knows what Kingdom Hearts is.

I wish more people knew what Kingdom Hearts is -.-

Congratulations on figuring out what happens in my school ._.

I only know two people in my school who actually know what Kingdom Hearts is, however, neither has actually played it. Seeing as many others have this problem, I don't think it's just our southerns.

It's the same in my school. One person said she played and thought it was boring.

This is very normal. It happens to me all the time.

A few people at my school know, and my friends know because i don't stop talking about them xD. but i havn't met anyone really that knows what they are.

The few people I know at my school who know about Kingdom Hearts have only played II.

But since I just started High school, I think I'm just not looking enough.

ive seen random people wear sora necklaces and most of my friends now what it is but its still a small amount...

That's normal. I've found a couple people in my school who have played a game or two from the series but aren't really big fans.

I started High School this year, and guys I'm disapointed...

Where is are the videogame fans! More importantly, where is the stereotipical cute faced flatbreasted nerd girl, that is inventually going to friendzone all the other nerds. Man, I have my friends, but neither of them is likes videogames the way I do...

Portugal is a sad place to be a nerd.

I can't find a single person either. Not to mention, I had to summarize the whole KH story to a friend of mine when he got interested when I mentioned the name xD (He's now a KH fan, though). I have to say, it was worth the 3 hours of explaining -_-

This is just sad or rather upsetting for me that this happens. Maybe most of the students are lying or even though FF and KH have tons of fans they are all separated and never concentrated within one area. Well at least these series were within my childhood.[twitter][/twitter]

Some of my friends have played KH 1 and KH 2, but most of my friends don't know what KH is.

At first only a few of my friends knew about KH(Only because i play in front of them and had to explain the storyline) but i thought know one else at my school knew. Then i had a KH2 bookmark and at lunch like five people walked up to me and was like "That's an awesome game." That was the most shocking day of my life...at school anyway.

I get the same problem. Why haven't people heard of KH or FF? They are amazing games. I guess it is a little awkward when you start talking about Kingdom Hearts and nobody has any idea what your on about.

So no, you are not alone. And that is why we even have this site. To find people like you and I, who love and enjoy Kingdom Hearts.

Enough of them do. Though, overall, it's like 6...

she does not know a good game when she plays it

there is hardly anyone i've met that knows what Kingdom Hearts is. Maybe 2 or 3 of my friends but thats about it. Some people really need to get out more. and im glad i know about KH (i got the first one when i got my ps2 back in 2004)
