Which gaming system(s) did you grow up on?

Posted

My first system I started playing was the NES. Shortly after that we moved onto the SNES. That's were most of my childhood was spent. The Playstation was another system I played a lot when I was young.

My first game ever was Kingdom Hearts.

A didn't stray far from my PS2, except for GBA and some Super Smash Bros Melee at friend's houses.

I feel bad for kids growing up now. They don't get toghether to play games like Mario Kart or discuss RPGs. No, they shoot each other over Xbox Live. Minecraft seems to be helping, but trolling is taking quite an influence.

Sorry, if I got a bit caught up in nostalgia.

I grow up with the N64

PS1 and PS2!

snes nes ps1 dreamcast sage genesis ps2 gamboy color

I've played alot of consoles like NES and SNES

but the ones I've played the most as a kid were the Sega Genesis ,Gameboy Color(I know it's handheld but I was addicted to Pokemon) and the N64.

Later on I've played Smash Bros Melee on the Game Cube for 7 years(I'm not kidding,I've played it constently with my brothers for 7 years until Brawl. It's that good)

And I had a Ps2 which became one of my favorite consoles of all time alongside the N64.

as for the DS,I freakin love the Nintendo DS.

I was already grown when video games were 1st released.

I grew up on the SNES, N64, GCN, GBC, GBA, SEGA GAMEGEAR, and DS. :D

GBA, Gamecube, and PS1.  And some random computer games...  Crystal Quest, anyone?

PC.

And then I got my DS in 2008 ^q^/////

  • 4 weeks later...

Atari, PS1, and PS2 aah good times

SNES, GBA, PS1 and PS2.

Mainly my GBA with Pokémon

It still lives c':

My first gaming device was the good ol' Gameboy Color, first game Pokemon Blue (best Christmas ever). We owned an original Playstation at the time too, so I grew up playing Spyro, Crash, FF7, Resident Evil, and Megaman. Then we got a Dreamcast, and House of the Dead gave me nightmares. Cousin had a N64, so I played that often too. Fast forward a few years, I got my first  console that was mine and mine alone! A PS2, with my favorite game Kingdom Hearts! Oh the memories...

PS1, and PS2

PlayStation 1 ! Good times !  ^_^

my first system was a NES but it broke down after only a few months so i didnt get to enjoy it all that much.

first system i got the full benefit from was the Playstation 1 with all of its games,Following a passive acquiring of a PS2(no one used it till my Aquiring of KH2 4-5 years later) and a more Active playing of the Gamecube with pokemon and all that stuff.. also got a gameboy color and advance somewhere in that time as well as an DS. didn't really got any noteworthy experiences on that except for,of course:Pokemon, specifically pokemon battles with others(i was the kid with the link cable hehehe)

n64 and ps2

N64, Gamecube, GBA

Windows 95 PC that played Pajama Sam, Spy Fox, and other children's educational games <. <

Then PS1 with Hydro Thunder. Moved to Gamecube later and finally got an Xbox after I got a Gameboy Adclvanced SP. A cool story behind it was that I had asked mlfor a GBA for christmas; my grandma couldn't find it so she got me the SP, which was beyond what I had asked for ^.^ After Xbox I bought myself a PS2 with christmas money and played that for ages. Got my DS way before that.

PS1 was my first system, but I didn't get super into gaming until PS2.

I played N64 when I was like 3 or something so I guess that doesn't count.

I grew up on ps1 and ps2...Although I played ps2 much more I remember some great times with Tekken 3 on my ps1 :D
