I haven't known hatok for too long, but I think he's a good guy and he has made this site a decent place to be. He made several good threads. 8D I will definitely miss him. I wish him the best.

Its a shame, it seems most of it escalated because of the, "I'm calling you out!" threads. How could I forget? I called about 30 people Pussies and got banned for like three days LOL. The rejection of the Lounge idea he proposed was what appeared to get under his skin and saddened him, eventually causing him to become inactive. I say we should honor him by creating that forum as he had suggested. I wish he hadn't deleted his account though )':

Either hatok's opinion changed quickly or he couldn't bare to be saying one thing and thinking another anymore. That being said, I still respect hatok alot because he didn't always go with the popular opinion despite the consequences of doing such. My heart went out to him when I was a lurker because of what happened during what I'll call "hatokgate" and his subsequent thread explaining his actions and that he really did love the Kh series despite pointing out the faults in it. He was or is depending on if he comes back a well-respected member here, this thread is proof of that.

 

I talked to him once in a thread, but regardless of my opinion of him he needs to be able to accept change. Apparently these "Call out" threads used to be popular a while ago but if the rules change, you have to adapt. They specifically say not to make topics that refer to a single member, or a couple of members, or are based on a joke/meme that only a small handful of people will understand. Not having to worry about being verbally assaulted when you login might be one the things that sets this Kh site apart from others. I'm not saying that I will mindlessly agree with everything this site decides to do, my response in the Pokemon forum debate should attest to that. I don't personally think it belongs on a Kh site so as a fan I might grumble about it but sites have to expand and do what is best for everybody, not unlike Xion's story. You never know, in time I could be in the same position hatok is in right now. Everyone has to decide what they will be able to tolerate and on which side of the conflict they stand, especially when they are not the ones in charge.

 

If he indeed did leave for good I'll miss him, but it might be just as well. Those who upset the status quo can possibly create problems similar to hatokgate. Inb4 shitstorm I'm surprised this thread didn't cause or that my reply might cause.

It's a shame to think that you find pleasure in calling people pussies. I generally don't express my discontent for fear of starting an argument but what you said pertains to what I was going to mention. I thought that idea was originally Cricket's and he just altered it? I personally didn't agree with that type of thing due to not liking being excluded for either only being here a little over a month or having only 500 posts. The main issue with it seemed to be worrying about people badmouthing others under the protection of it and them never knowing. The way you treat other members seems to back up that claim. Considering the fact that they could be as young as 12 and have to see that is disturbing, and surprising considering you want to be a "whore" on here one day. And also because of how you were shocked that your post about Sora96's bedtime and the resulting reply of yours questioning it were removed. I'd assume it was because you were off-topic or disrespecting a staff member by challenging their removal of it. I only saw the second one because of an email notifcation btw. I'm all for fun, but that is what Random is for. Whether or not fun being categorized is right I don't know, all I do know is we get Kh news and in exchange we follow the rules. I'm sorry if this seems judgemental since I don't want to be unfriendly to anyone but if those rules aren't followed you could become like Razorwind one day. I've actually made mistakes that required modding as well, and I feel that the staff are fair with their decisions.
