Currently, the "Recept Topics" show new topics in all forums of the website. This is a kind of bad practise, since the majority of users won't care for the stuff posted in Random, Roleplaying, etc-- 90% of visitors on KH13 are guests, and we can assume that these guests are only interested in KH-related topics. With this in mind, what forums should and should not display in the Recent Topics?

Which forums shouldn't appear:

 

Random (and it's subforums), Forum Games and Roleplaying. 

Roleplaying

Random's threads should still appear in Recent Topics.

If you go by this, "90% of visitors on KH13 are guests, and we can assume that these guests are only interested in KH-related topics." then introduce yourself, website, real life news, video games, media, personal, creative media, roleplaying, writing, forum games and random should all be removed from the recent topics list. But if all of those were removed than the recent topics list it wouldn't be updated as often and would make the website look boring. I don't think random or forum games should be removed because it makes the website look fun. (At least that's why I joined.) As a member I'd have to say roleplaying because it doesn't draw me in as much as other topics.

This is a good point especially during news droughts, where people are less likely to make KH related topics.

Roleplay. I use pretty much the rest of them.

Because of having most of the things in the recent threads, I can barely find a KH related thread which is a bad thing and I think that all of the other things that are not related to KH should be removed.

Yeah, I'd say Roleplay, and that's it. That's the part of the screen that I always check to see if there are any news (obviously KH, no problem there) more funny/stupid topics to read, which usually end up in random. I definitely wouldn't want to see random removed from that.

Keep it as is.  The recent topics is like free advertising for your topic.  The joke stuff is half the things that happen on this site, and how are we going to share stuff if no one knows it's been posted?

But maybe you could divide the Recent topics into parts, as in: Community, General, Kingdom Hearts Series, Creativity and Fun&Games.

More like the recent topic posted in that section, no matter how old could show up. Just saying.
