Should the U.S be worried about North Korea?

Featured Replies

In a non-offensive manner, apart from those who think they can achieve the stereotypical America Dream of being rich, beautiful, moving to a town and suddenly making a whole new set of friends, a family by 30 years of age and a good job you actually enjoy, the majority of other people hate America.

But it's okay, England has no friends on facebook either.

That's why I like South Korea. They give me comedic dramas with my breakfast. Apparently, North Korea doesn't even know when its satellites malfunction.

But in seriousness, South Korea was launching satellites, while North Korea (apparently) was testing banned nuclear technology. Even South Korea says the North will be doing it again, and they live next door. This is definitely something to keep in the forefront of our national security thinking, but pushing it would lead to... well... bad chizz...

The fact that they are using Micheal Jackson's "We Are the World" while showing missiles make me sick.

We should always be worried about North Korea. If they hate us, that's their business. If they want to shoot illegal missiles at us...then it's our business and we won't take kindly to it.

Not the best song choice for such a video but yeah they should keep their eye on North Korea

That's pretty scary so I'd say yes.

To be honest, the U.S.has bigger problems. :/

This is something the U.S government should be alert with. At the pace North Korea and the U.S are going, things might eventually blow up.into a war. The last thing anyone wants.

We're probably safe for quite a while. While North Korea would probably love to attack us, realistically, it's impossible. They'd be wiped off the face of the earth of they tried. I'd say other places probably have slightly more to worry about, but even then, I don't think North Korea is shortsighted enough to try to attack anywhere. They may get the preemptive strike on us (in a hypothetical scenario--IRL they wouldn't be stupid enough to try) but we'd retaliate very quickly. It would be a very one-sided war favoring America.

You're talking about a one-on-one war, right?Because, I'm not sure, but Russia might try to support NK in a war against America.

Yeah, I was mostly referring to a 1 v. 1 war.

I guess Russia is always a variable, but I think Russia values its place as part of the United Nations, and realize how bad it would end for them in they helped out the North Koreans.
