With the news of PS4. Its safe to assume that Kingdom hearts will never come out for PS3. I wonder why such a great game was never brought to the ps3. And why Nintendo got so many games, especially since it started at playstation??

And now with so many Kingdom hearts that came out on psp or mostly Nintendo Portables. How can someone who just played KH 1 & 2 understand whats been happening in the series. I have read about the games. But its annoying having to read so much and not playing.

 

KH3 should be a launch game for ps4. So many fans are requesting for it and we have no answers.

What? This post makes me sad.... Why would you ever say kingdom hearts for ps4 when it has not yet been released and kh 1.5 is scheduled to be released soon in japan on a ps3... I don't even....

and the days scenes are completely new.

So for some people it is new.

As for kh3 on ps3 or ps4 Nomura said he's going to try to bring all of the games to one console so I think it will be ps3 or even possibly ps3 and ps4.

One thing's for sure, I think Tetsuya Nomura is fighting a lost cause with the release of the 1.5 reMIX now.  While he was trying to condense all the games for us on the same system, the games are again going to be broken up across several if KH3 is going to be released on the PS4--which it likely is.  Not to mention a 2.5 reMIX will likely be on the PS4 as well, which'll look REALLY strange, since 1.5's on the PS3...

If KH3 ended up on the PS4, I won't be getting it. Spent too much money on consoles and stuff. Can't afford to buy more.

When a new console gets announced game companies don't all of a sudden forget about the last gen and shift their focus to the new ones all at once, it takes years. New games will still come out for the PS3 and I think KH3 will still come out on it as well. It's the last game in the Xehanort Saga and if it comes out around 2015-2016 that's not too far into the PS4's life span. Not to mention the PS4 isn't even coming out for a while still.

Yeah....it took at least 2 or 3 years before there were no more games coming for ps2, when the ps3 was released.

well ive read that ps4 will stream ps1, ps2 and ps3 games. but im not sure if its true. im going to wait and see if thats true and if it is what games will be available on the stream (hopefully all. there is a lot ive missed out on). one of the reasons that i didnt get a ps3 is that it wasnt backwards compatible with ps2 which sucked.

It's coming out at the end of this year. Personally, at the rate that KH3 and FFv13 are going, I wouldn't be surprised if KH3 comes out on PS4 or even if Square decides to further delay FFv13 to be on PS4

If this is true, I'll be a very, very happy person indeed.

I severely doubt KH will be making it to the PS4 anytime soon after it's release, I mean did Re:CoM make it to the PS3? No, which honestly was a good idea, a lot of people bought the PS3 hoping to someday play KH on it, and with KHHD 1.5 coming for the PS3 hopefully having a good chunk of KH games on it will drastically increase it's lifespan. I don't want to buy a PS4 just to play KH (even though I've done similar before; I'm looking at you BBS) saying I won't though is an understatement. I just hope after KHHDs 1.5 and 2.5 and KH3 they take a semi-short break before working on a new saga, which I hope'll be on the PS4. KH2 didn't get a proper sequel for nearly the entire life span of it's next-gen main console, so I just hope KH4 can plant KH's foundation for the PS4 early.

They said they want to get there eventually but will start with ps3 games.

Didn't the Ps2 just stop production? I think the Ps3 is going to be okay for a long while.

Only minuscule titles are created for old-gen consoles, Re:CoM appeared on the freakin' Ps2 because it was already out for like a year or two in Japan! 

To be honest, Nomura seems to have a track record of releasing KH games on dying systems. BbS? Re:Coded? Anyone? Not that the PS3 is dying, but you get my point. I seriously doubt it'll come out for the PS4, and even if it does, it'll probably be for PS3 as well. He wouldn't make all the games available on one console (PS3) then randomly shove KH3 exclusively on a newer one.

I'm pretty sure KH 1.5 and 2.5 are still going to be on PS3. 

I reckon all the remakes will be on the ps3, primarily 'cause they couldn't just let the console slip by without one.  And I understand the logic that its been out a long time and loads of people have it, but if I didn't have one, I wouldn't go out and buy a PS3 for 1.5 when the PS4 is announced and most definitely KH3 will come out on that for the "never before seen detail" simply it'll be at least another 2 years, or 3 if they keep it to 3 games to one remix (there's one left over they could bundle into 2.5, I personally think they should just port BBSFM) and by that time I assume the sales of the PS4 would be favourable.  So it would have been better had they sped it up a bit and released the remix's a while ago.

But ah well.  I feel disappointed but there's nothing I can do to change it.  I'll just spent a chunk of my student loan on a PS4 (Y)

KH 1.5 will be for PS3 aswell as 2.5. About KH3 I think it will be for PS3 and PS4.

The PS4 is supposed to be indefinitely easier to develop on than the PS3. I think that reason alone justifies it'll be on PS4 instead. Square would be crazy to waste precious development time on a project that will easily sell millions.

 

But yeah, like others are saying I'm pretty sure 2.5 will also be on PS3. And both HD collections should be available to play on PS4's Gaikai service. At least it makes sense.

That's what I said earlier.....when the ps3 came out new games got released for both the ps3 and the ps2.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will either be for the PS3, or it will be multiplatform.

 

Just cause the PS4 will be out by next year doesn't mean the PS3 will just spontaneously combust. They were still making PS2 games well into 2010, four years after the PS3 came out. And production of the PS2 didn't stop until last year.
