actually 1.5, 2.5, KH3 will be on the PS3

Nomura did announce KHIII but he didn't say what console it would be on plus the fact that i think KH-2.5 HD ReMIX- will be on the PS4 instead.

Nomura stated that he wants all of the KH games on one console, so all of the near future games will very likely be the PS3. If 1.5 is already on PS3, 2.5 being moved to the PS4 would be a collection on two different consoles. But since it seems that the PS4 is being revealed early, KHIII very well may be on that console.

KH3 doesnt have to be on PS4. Re:COM and BBS were being developed on PS2 after the PS3's release. But if they are asked to make KH3 on PS4(going by history), they will do it. Plus, if its easier to develop on.

I would pretty much hate Nomura if he don't put KH3 on PS3

KH3 and the games before it will be on the ps3

As the title says, do you think it's too early for Sony to move into the next generation? Personally I think yes. Microsoft will take this as an advantage and be the last of the three competitors to release their next Xbox, and will ultimately be better than the PS4 and Wii U.

I feel like it's a bit early. Should wait until the end of the year or next year to announce it imo.

i feel like there a ton of topics like this but yeah its too early

Where did you hear it's going to be released sometime around Christmas?  Just curious, since I haven't stumbled upon this in any news I've found yet.

It's just the right time, we've had the Ps3 for about 6 years now. That's a good run for a console, and they will still be supporting it till 2015. Besides, the Xbox 360 and Ps3 are holding back consoles a bit, and Wii U is about the most powerful thing you can get when compared to a PC. But they are really going to have to push the envelope to blow us away.

But I don't get why they said they were going to wait for Microsoft, but end up most likely announcing the PS4 today.

It just feels too early 'cause we're all still playing KH on the PS2. In reality, it's a decent time to release the PS4

I think the time is right.

I don't think it's to early. 6 years is a pretty long time.

Doesn't matter what I think. I'm not buying this year, and the PS3 will still be supported after the PS4's release. Also, going by the release dates starting from PS1, its time.

Well, look at what happened last generation. Microsoft came out first while Nintendo and Sony hung back. Nintendo, as always, did its own thing, but Sony was forced to compete with Microsoft, who had used the extra time to usurp Sony's market in North America. It's not a matter of making a 'better' console, it's a matter of getting these machines out to people. By revealing first, Sony gets to set the standard of expectations for these new consoles. Letting Microsoft scoop them again would be a poor move.

That said, it is too early for me personally. I have too much left to play on the PS3, so unless it's backwards compatible I don't have a lot of motivation to buy a PS4. Yet...

No i think it's about time for it to come out because i barely got a ps3 a couple months ago. And when ever i get a console, the new one comes out in 2-6 months. xD

I believe that the time is right for a new console. It's been almost 7 years since the PS3 came out, and the PS3 didn't come out until 6 years after the PS2.

dam right its to early its 5 years to early at that

Yeah, too early.

And what Silent Hero said lol.
