    • Yes, I collect every console that gets released no matter what

    • Sure, as long as it had great games and graphics

    • I'm not sure, but that's not a dealbreaker for me

    • Probably not, unless it was priced very low to make up for it

    • No, I would refuse to buy any system with that requirement

With that kind of feature? I rather have a worst game in the world than to have internet-on console.

PS4 FTW.

No. It's not everyone that have internet.

No. That's so stupid anyways.

Not me >_>

It's not fair that you need to use an internet to play single-player games. If you want to be alone, why must you be forced to use something designed to socialize?!

no because when I'm at college it always takes me on and off of internet so that will suck so no I will not buy a console like that regardless of what games are on it or not I'm happy with my PS3 right now. Plus I wanna hear more about the next gen consoles before I decide if I want them or not (that and the money as well...)

Probably not.

I was gonna buy Sim City for the PC but it requires all internet access which is a bit iffy for me since my parents are very anxious and turns off the internet periodically so I can't get on. So I won't be able to enjoy Sim City that much even though it's a full on Single Player Game. Would of preferred online access so you can go look at other cities but I can see why they wanted an always on internet connection to prevent pirating.

Aghh, I mean...

If Nintendo made a new console with always-on internet connection, and they had all their best exclusives coming out.... I don't know.

The games are what decide whether I would and/or when I would get a console. That's why I got a 3DS way past release and am currently waiting to buy a Wii U when more games come out as well, WW HD in particular.

No. The central (generally unspoken) purposes of an always-on system is to prevent piracy or to eliminate used game sales. Piracy only exists in a fraction of the console gaming market, and used game sales are already limited by the online-passes and Day 1 DLCs out there. Nothing is gained through having an always-on console that couldn't be achieved through an "occasionally-on" console other than you being prevented from playing your game how you'd like.

Our internet is always on, but I would only get it if it was cheap.

No.

Every console up until now has proven to be greatly successful without that feature

I hadn't been able to do online gaming until pretty recently

and gaming is still great without online

It isn't necessarily a deal breaker but I'm not buying a system specifically for this feature. I mean, If games, like Destiny for example, can pull off this type of feature in gameplay, then good. Great. I would love to see more games like that. But to not have the option to play single player games without a necessary internet connection is a really stupid move. I have little hope for this next generation of consoles, Wii U included.

I would only buy such console if their will be a kh game on it

No because the internet I have now isn't always on, so there would be no way for me to have it.

Nah, I wouldn't.. Having played Batman Arkham City on pc I now hate services which force you to play online. I can accept it with pc gaming to an extent but a console that stops you from playing without internet would be bad. Only KH3 would persuade me to change my mind... even then, the console would need to be cheap.

No. Offline has to be a backup when no internet is available.

Nope. Xboxes are shit.

Nope. Xboxes are shit.

Never

anyone who said no has to realize that thats what gaming is ging to be like in 5-30 years.

I think that's a stupid idea. I hope they don't do that for the new consoles.
