Hey everyone, how's it going?  Well, I'm guessing it's probably going pretty great, seeing as how we're all hyped that Kingdom Hearts 3 was finally announced!  I mean seriously, when I saw the trailer, I thought I was hallucinating, but thank the heavens that the trailer was real!  Anyways, back to what I want to talk about, the one and only concern that I have for this epic game is that it'll be short.  Why do I think this, you ask?  Well, the reason is because Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, as awesome as it was, undeniably was short.  I beat it in three days, and I bet most of you beat it in even less time.  I know that I shouldn't be worried about this since this is a numbered title, but I'm still kind of worried either way.  I want Kingdom Hearts 3 to be the longest Kingdom Hearts game we've played, since it's taken such a long wait for us.  I hope it has so many things that it'll take hours upon hours to be able to finish the story and collect everything in the game.  I know that Nomura won't disappoint, so I know the game will be a success, but so far the only real concern I have for this game is its longevity.  I pray that it's a very long game!  So, what do you think of this ladies and gentlemen?

You beat it in three days? Did you play it every single day or something? I was up to forty-eight hours by the time I finally beat it (though I did extra stuff on the side)!

What if KH3 turns out like the Star Wars episode 1? O.o

It usually takes me around 20h to complete  KH2, I'm hoping KH3 would take like 40-50h.

It better be long, there's no excuse since it's going to be on home consoles with blu-ray discs (whereas with the others it's always been the system wouldn't allow the space)

well i doubt it will be short but even if it is, i'm sure it will have heaps of fan serivce and side missions to keep us satisfied, not to mention trophies and replay values

Edit: do you think they will make dlc for kingdom hearts 3 ? since it is on the consoles that can handle it.

Yes, I was so obsessed over KH3D that I played it every single day for three days, and I beat it, and also I managed to do a lot of the side activities.

Heck to the yes!  THIS GAME HAS TO WIN THE GAME OF THE YEAR WHEN IT HITS!!!!  AND I ALSO DEMAND THAT GAME INFORMER DOES A COVER STORY FOR Kingdom Hearts 3, SINCE I'VE ALWAYS WANTED A Kingdom Hearts GAME ON THE COVER OF A GAME INFORMER MAGAZINE AND WE'VE NEVER GOTTEN ONE!

Finding the 7 guardians, Fight Xehanort Vessels, Rescue Aqua, Go To CO, Rescue Ventus, "Find terra?", Protect The 7 princess, Visit the + 11 worlds ( +11 worlds, since we know we going to have more than that >>> 7 worlds of the princess, Radiant Garden, Twilight Town, The World That Never Was, Castle Oblivion, Alot of New Worlds) And alot of other stuffs ._.

Well I think KH3 has no choice but to be long bc there is too much to do and ends to tie up for the Xehanort Saga

No. I refuse to believe that KH3 will be as bad as The Phantom Menace.

the portable games were short because of space limitations, the only long one was chain of memories and that was because every single world was the same.

birth by sleep was very short, im not sure if you noticed but there were only like 7 worlds and each of them were very small even the jungle book was removed because of space issues on the umd. also many graphics elements were taken out like the fact that none of the keyblades had 3d models...

Well, considering the power the Ps4 and Xbox One have, and the current circumstances story wise, no doubt KHIII will be the longest KH yet. Plus, we always have the possibility of multiplayer being added, which will add more replay value.

Well, i'm not sure if you noticed but their were three playable characters who's stories lasted about 15-18 hours if you didn't rush through it, and got the good commands and took advantage of the command board. That's not even 100% completion.Oh, and their were eleven worlds including Land of Depature, The Keyblade Graveyard, The Mysterious Tower, and The Mirage Arena. Which rivals KHII's amount of worlds.

well i guess we just had different experiences playing the game then.... oh well :L

All the games seem to have been the same length.KH I had like 35 hours, but i beat it in two days. Barely slept.Re:CoM was also 35 hours, but it took way longer due to frustration.KH2 was 30-35, took about a week because I had school.BBS was like, 10 for terra, 10 for aqua, 10 for ventus, and 2 for the final chapter. So still 30-35.358/2 Days was 35 hours.3D was 30 hours.So on average, no I'd say it was the same length as the rest of them. But it did FEEL shorter for some reason. Even though I beat KH1 in two days, it felt like one of the longer ones. But that's probably because there were more boring parts than the other games. Same with Re:CoM, that was very boring at times so that felt the longest.I think no matter how KH3 turns out, people are going to be disappointed just because we all have our own ridiculous expectations of perfection haha
