Shulk 8,623 Posted June 15, 2013 Well, after watching the E3 trailer, I came up with a theory. I've decided to share it with you guys, so enjoy! (Note: This contains spoilers for BBS. Read at your own risk!) Alright, so we all saw the Master Keeper on the beach at Destiny Islands, right? Sora picks it up. Well, for those of us who have played BBS, we know who had this Keyblade: Aqua. So, how did it end up at Destiny Islands? I can only think of one logical explanation: Aqua escaped the Realm of Darkness, and is now at Destiny Islands. I mean, she's been wandering them for a long time, so it's very possible that she found a way out. Sora and Riku did at the end of KHII, after all. So, I think that they'll meet up with Aqua at DI, and then go to Castle Oblivion to rescue Ven. This is just a theory, but it makes sense to me. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Demyx. 10,064 Posted June 15, 2013 Or it means absolutely nothing because it's a beta trailer. 7 Oli, PillowHead, HarLea Quinn and 4 others reacted to this
HarLea Quinn 26,501 Posted June 15, 2013 If she escaped why would she just leave her keyblade laying there abandoned ? Anyways concept trailers aren't reliable bc throughout development things can be changed or deleted until the very end of production. 3 Demyx., The Transcendent Key and Robbie the Wise reacted to this
Emrys 3,192 Posted June 15, 2013 dont forget kairis letter went from destiny islands to the dark realm. this theory is possible. Well done 3 Mirajane, Shulk and Ruby Rose reacted to this
oblivion/oathkeeper roxas8 14 Posted June 15, 2013 the theory could be right but Megaman X is right it is just a beta trailer just look at the game play scene
SoraKH 793 Posted June 15, 2013 I dont know ;/ like Flaming Lea said, why would she abandon her Keyblade? I think Sora picking up Aqua's keyblade has a message behind it. I mean maybe Nomura wants to show us that Sora will save Aqua. But again. Its just a Beta trailer ;p
KingdomHearts123456 32 Posted June 15, 2013 Or it means absolutely nothing because it's a beta trailer. Nah it has to mean something..
Godskeybladewarrior 73 Posted June 15, 2013 ''With the Joker it's never that simple'' - Batman (The Dark Knight) Same thing applies with Nomura, he's got a crazy (in a good...ish way) mind. He's unpredictable.
Caity 3,946 Posted June 15, 2013 I doubt we'll see any of the concepts shown in the beta trailer in the final product. Any of it.

rikulover35 4 Posted June 15, 2013 so after 11 years in the realm of darkness Aqua found a way to get out then leaves the only keyblade she has.well to me she must of got attacked or something
KingdomHearts123456 32 Posted June 16, 2013 Ever see the original DDD trailer? A lot of the gameplay mechanics were kept in that trailer I believe.
KH4Real 749 Posted June 16, 2013 It is Sora's fate to resque Aqua. Nice idea though. You can say that Aqua is lying fainted a few meters behind the keyblade

FoxStailer 0 Posted June 16, 2013 (edited) Master Keeper has only been used by Keyblade Masters, so the one who should have found the Keyblade should have been Riku and not Sora since he failed the Mark of Mastery, and why would Sora go back to DI if Riku and Kairi were at Yen's Sid Tower at the end of Dream Drop Distance, so this is either a concept (non-canon) trailer or somehow Sora went back to DI to prove his Mark of Mastery to be a Keyblade Master or something like that. Robbie the Wise 5,050 Posted June 18, 2013 I think you guys are holding way to much store in this beta trailer (which is more teaser then trailer. Sora finding Master Keeper doesn't have to be taken litterally as him finding Master Keeper. 1 HarLea Quinn reacted to this

Shulk 8,623 Posted June 21, 2013 What about Terra? He's still trapped in the Keyblade Graveyard, in his armor. He'd come afterwards, of course. They still need to retrieve his body from Xehanort, also. I think he'll be the last of the three that will be saved, since Aqua would probably need to come first anyway, and it'd be real easy for her to find Ven. Terra would be difficult to retrieve. KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted June 21, 2013 Do not make any theories now until a new trailer is released because this teaser trailer is only a beta trailer and not the actual thing.

Marth 338 Posted June 21, 2013 Well it is too early to say what it will be. Square Enix may go with the exact same thing, use bits of it, or none of it. Well time will tell so let's just try not get our hopes up with speculation

Well time will tell so let's just try not get our hopes up with speculation Since the game's been in development for 3 years, I think they'd have at least the beginning of the story done. Also, the KH beta trailers had some aspects the same. I might've just been overlooking it, but it makes sense to me. 1 Marth reacted to this
Robbie the Wise 5,050 Posted June 21, 2013 What about Terra? He's still trapped in the Keyblade Graveyard, in his armor. Terra is not physically trapped in his armor. Rather his thoughts of protecting his friends and stopping Xehanort gathered within it bringing it to life to carry out his will. Hence the name Lingering Will. 1 Demyx. reacted to this
