So, many people have been wondering and asking about Star Wars being in the KH series. Well, to be honest with you, that is about the stupidest idea to put into a KH game. Okay for one, it just unfitting for Kingdom Hearts to add Star Wars in it. I mean sure Disney recently bought Star Wars but that doesn't mean Nomura will EVER consider mixing Star Wars in Kingdom Hearts.I mean having Darth Vader, General Grevous, Kad Bane, Darth Maul and any other Star Wars villian as bosses seems rather silly and plain unfitting. Also, The whole "Use the force" thing doesn't seem like something Sora, Riku, ect would learn in terms of magic attacks and, would be unfitting. I mean Obi-Wan or Yoda teaching them how to use the force would be weird and seems a bit out of style to me. Plus the fact the Kingdom Hearts is a kid-friendly series that's all about friendship, the Heart, and all that sweet jazz. While Star Wars has more of a darker tone to the series with saddening backstories, tragic deaths, good guys turning evil blah blah blah all that good stuff than KH does. I mean yeah KH can have its dark moments but not nearly as dark as Star Wars has.  And if you ask me, KH has enough "Star Wars" in it  if you know what I mean. We already have Xemnas with his "Lightsabers"and electricity powers that comes out of his hands MUCH like a Sith Lord does. Plus, BBS had its "Star Wars" moment if memory serves me correctly. So that's about as close as we're going to get on having Star Wars in Kingdom Hearts.

 

 

Oh, and don't DARE pull that "Well people  thought that the characters in TWEWY weren't going to be in KH but look  at DDD" crap. The whole reason why TWEWY even got on KH because that was owned by SE and they own the right to that.

At least have the Millennium Falcon be a pilotable Gummi Ship xDOh, and a saber-keyblade.

They had Pirates of the Caribbean, which was unfitting for a Kingdom Hearts game, in KH2. They also had Tron Legacy, which again was somewhat unfitting for KH. If they could add those, they could add Star Wars. It would be a great idea. Nomura has shown interest in using newly acquired Disney Titles in KH.

Square Enix are very creative,they could definitly find a way to fit Star Wars in Kingdom Hearts.Even if Disney didn't own Star Wars,even if NOTHING could be done to fit Star Wars storyline into a Kingdom Hearts game,wouldn't you like to fight the Death Star with the gummi ship,or fight against Dark Vader or the Emperor.I wouldn't mind to see Sora in Midgar or any other place in the Final Fantasy world,I'm not a big fan of the Disney movies so when I see the possibility that a good movie such as Star Wars might be in one of my favorite games,I just like the idea.I really don't like the Beauty and the Beast movie at all,it was terribly boring to me,from start to finish and I wasn't expecting much from that world in Kingdom Hearts 2,but they managed to make it one of my favorite world,the cutscenes were pretty good and I don't see why the same couldn't be done with Star Wars.

 

 

But there is one thing though that might bug me about a Star Wars world,the graphics.Sora is a cartoony character and he REALLY felt out of place in Port Royal and since Star Wars is not a cartoon the same problem might happen,but it wasn't a big deal to me,I still liked Port Royal.

While I agree that it would perhaps be best if Star Wars is not used in a KH game, I disagree with several of your points.

1: Having a Star Wars Villain as a boss is no worse than having Tron villains or Clayton from Tarzan. If you watch the original Star Wars movies, they were pretty hockey.

2: Kingdom Hearts has plenty of "darkness" in its story. Worlds, and most the people in them, have been destroyed. Good people have gone bad. Characters have died, been tormented, twisted, and so on. Also, if you look at the Final Fantasy characters and their original games, you'll see lots of "darkness" in those stories as well. Besides, most worlds get an editing treatment for entering the KH universe. If something doesn't fit, they'll edit it or ignore it.

3: Your argument about using TWEWY as a contrary example also blows your argument that Star Wars won't be used because of the length of time Disney has owned the franchise out of the water. It doesn't matter how long Disney has had it. They own it. That means they can use it how ever they want. And Disney started moving on using the Star Wars franchise very quickly by announcing a movie, which they are currently working on and giving EA the license to make more games. You are right, just because Disney owns Star Wars doesn't mean we will see it in future KH titles, but you can't say it won't happen till you hear it directly from Disney or Square Enix that it will not be used.

Yes, they were. Even so, it is still a possibility that Nomura could push for Star Wars to be in KH. I never said it was expected that it would be in KH. It's just a possibility.

Even though Tron Legacy and Pirates of the Caribbean are Disney titles, they were far to realistic for the game and didn't have the same Disney essence as other Disney worlds, but were added regardless. I think it would be cool if it was in, but that's just because I like Star Wars and I want a Lightsaber Keyblade. It's a possibility that it could be added. I can see what you and the OP mean though.

I agree. SW is waayyyyy too similar to KH and would screw up the entire galaxy and plot line. Why not have Harry Potter in KH? I KNOW, NON Disney but I seriously could see that working waaaaay more than SW. Wouldn't f it up as much 

Agreed. Xemnas, Young Xehanort, and Anti-Black Coat would fit in, with their light saber looking Ethereal blades, but no, Star Wars & KH would not work together.

Sorry I can't resist that desire for wanting Star Wars featured in Kingdom Hearts. I just can't resist to imagine Xemnas being there, I just can't.

 

Your arguments could be as well stompet into a trash bin, my friend. They used Tron and Tron Legacy as well as Pirates of the Caribbean. They are quite dark too. Not to mention KH has it's own darkness already. Hell I mean the whole game is about light AND darkness LOL And not to forget they were realistic too and it never really bothered me that they were. Also I'd find it pretty badass having Star Wars boss. Just wishing, but I'd find it awesome if Darth Vadar and Xemnas actually joined forces and you'd have to beat them both haha. But I doubt it will happen.

 

Though if they are gonna put it into KHIII, then I'm seriously pissed if Xemnas doesn't make at least a tiny bit of an appearance in this world. I mean he DID copy his favorite weapons from there *nodnod* Just joking of course.~

I liked Tron Legacy very much. They only needed to finish it better.

Star Wars in KH just seems so unnecessary. I like Star Wars, but when it's mixed with kingdom hearts I know both will be ruined. It wasn't originally a Disney movie either. Just because they have the rights to it now doesn't mean it's a)true disney and b)needs to be in kh

I will be disappointed if it shows up in this game.
