I mean, what if the game ends up sucking like Duke Nukem did? So many years would've been wasted making the game, and it ends up failing horribly. That would be so horrifying. xD

Please don't jinx it. I don't want to have the same disappointment I had with Sonic 06 back when it first came out.

That would be a shame

Like that's even a possibility?

I'm sure they fine tuned that game like crazy, so I don't think it will "flop"

It's a FF game, there's no way it can sell badly.

I doubt it will. It's a game that people have wanted since 06, so even if it sucks big hairy gorilla dong people are still gonna buy it.

Impossible,XV will be good no matter what

Just as long as it doesn't come out during the holidays in November.

It looks far too amazing to not do well in sales. Reviews and merchandise and stuff might not do as well if it sucks but...come on how could it suck?!

No way, it's a game made by Nomura.

While it is entirely plausible that Square can botch FFXV (AlphaOmegaSin notes how Square is incredibly good at making their games look amazing in trailers in..I believe his Square Soft/Square Enix rant?), I sincerely hope that this will not be the case, as it looks incredible, and why would someone not want Square to succeed with it?  Until then, we can only watch, wait, and hope.

This statement seems to contradict what I have heard about FFXIII.  I have not played it myself, but FFXIII seems to fall under the category of 'selling badly' (At least according to things I've heard about it not reaching Square's projected profit margin or something).  I personally look forward to the day where I can play it for myself, as I'm curious as to why it has received bad reviews and why there seem to be lots of people who don't like it (I honestly hope that I will enjoy it nonetheless, though I generally am never the best critic of things xD)

It'll sell great.

FFXIII did pretty well in sales, not the best in it's history, but above average.  FFXIII-2 apparently didn't sell well at all though, so I expect XV to sell at the same level as the original XIII

I don't think that'll happen. Like, look at the last game that flopped, FFXIV: When they realized it flopped, they took it back in and completely re-made it. If they're willing to do that, then they're willing to take the time to make a good game. Plus, the KH development team seems more focused and able to work with each other, than teams for generally disliked titles like FFXIII. (look at the wikipedia article for FFXIII, and you'll see what I mean)

there goes the chances of a Final Fantasy VII remake xD

Final fantasy XV isn't even out yet. So don't judge things too quickly.

It wont.

Oh no, I can't wait to play FF XV. I've been waiting for it since the first day we learned about it.

Square Enix would probably die from that. I read an interview saying that another flop like FFXIV would be fatal for the company.
