please, can we define art?

God that's hard, I guess it's something which expresses a range of emotions, Art can be ANYTHING, it's in the eye of the beholder.

Its a way of expressing yourself using anything in the material world.

Its a way of expressing yourself using anything outside of your own body.

 

I think you can also just use your body, for example I see also dancing as art.

 

But I've no idea how I'd define art then really..

Art is something that comes from the heart and soul, something that keep you going, something that puts meaning to your life.

Weather it's a small drawing or a beautiful painting. Art is expressing yourself, in a song, poem, drawing, singing, etc.

Art is beautiful, wonderful, and original. Even if you got the idea from somebody else.

It's still is YOUR work. 

YOU pour your heart and soul into it. 

 

Well that what I define art as.

To me, it's undefinable.

 

But to put it in simple terms, art is the product of mankind's passion, dedication, and imagination.

I feel that art is a mix of emotional expression, backed by intellectual thought, produced into a physical form for further interpretation. 

 

I emphasize the intellectual thought part, because I think that Art (with a capital A!) should mean something, or at least have some level of thought put into it.

Something that strives to have a deep meaning but usually is not.Oh, I misread your title.

What I personally define as art is pretty simple:

Anything that has been made by someone with the intent to create an emotional connection or response and delivers on that intent.

 

Though I suppose that there are somethings that might fit that description but I wouldn't consider art. In reality, I don't believe that there is one single way to define art, as everybody has their own definition. It really is in the eye of the beholder, as cheesy as it sounds.

Something that comes from your, heart and mind. (At least that's how I see it)

 

Anything can be art really, pictures, music, writing, dance, games, movies...etc.

I don't think it can be defined.
