Is getting the pre-order bonuses the main reason you pre-order a game?

Yeah, I pre-order mostly for the bonuses. Though, if it is a game from a series I really like or if I think the game will be hard to find, I'll pre-order even if there aren't any bonuses.

With KH now 'cause I have the money (and wouldn't have when I was a child getting KH1, 2, Days and Birth by Sleep from my mom) I will preorder any KH game just cause I can and to get it on release.  For other games, depending on what the preorder bonus is it may sway me to do so.  If it's something like stickers or something else I'd just feel I could go without it.  If it's something really cool like a LE figure, case, cover, or something else that seems useful, I would preorder for it, but I'd have to like the game as well.  Wouldn't just preorder a game for the bonus only.  

i was planning on Pre-Ordering KH 1.5 before i heard about bonuses, then bonus number one came, and i'm just like sweet, just something to add to wanting to pre-order

I've only preordered one game in my life, and it had no bonuses.

We here in Portugal never get bonus. For anything.

I've only pre-ordered one game in my lifetime: Kingdom Hearts 1.5. I already ordered it before either one of the bonus's were announced.

Yeah, sometimes. Of course, if it's a game that I'd love and want to get on day one/close to day one, I'd still pre-order it, like what I'm doing with Pokemon Y Version!

Before I preordered I didn't know it was KHFM being remastered, so I thought ehh ok not worth it. Then I heard of the art book and I was like ok... Maybe. And then I found out it was final mix and I thought ok 2 games, a cutscenes movie thing, and a bonus. Might as well!

I'm annoyed that NA is once again getting more pre-order bonuses than EU and AUS (I don't see any reason whatsoever for us not to get the theme with our versions too, shouldn't have to import), but I'm just grateful that's ALL it is; a few pictures on a PS3 background. Anyway, yeah, I would pre-order KHHD regardless. Artbook is a brilliant bonus though, love it.

No. But if it doesnt increase the price, Im not complaining.

Pre order bonuses are meant to have people pre order the game. To encourage people to pre order. Some people just din't care and but it in a local store when it comes out. I would only pre order if I want the game a lot and if it had a good pre order bonus, then I would go for it. If it didn't have one, I would just wait.

Yeah, pretty much. Either that, or to make absolutely sure that I get my hands on a really rare collector's edition, like KH3D's.

I waited for the pre-order bonus to be announced for 1.5. I never would've expected a dynamic theme as well. 

I'm still playing the games that i pre-order even if it's not have bonus...

The only reason I pre-order is because otherwise I know I might not get a chance to buy games for a long while. I live in the middle of nowhere, and game shops get a limited stock, so pre-ordering is the only way to ensure I will be able to get a copy of the game.
