On your very first time playing KH1 did you beat Riku in that race in Destiny Island? Or did you lose to him?

To answer the question in the topic title, yes, and I have beaten him at that race over 100 times. (possibly even 99 times IN a single play through, yay for 2970 munny!)

Though to answer the question in the OP, I did not beat him on my very first attempt ever.

I won surprisingly. But then I tried to fight him and the score went from 1-0 to 1-4 lol

I tripped him and beat him with a log.Then made my way to the finish line

I won o3o. You have to take the lower road along the beach and stuff...

when you jump in that game there's a little pause, but the lower road didn't require as much jumping... so yeah.

I usually lost at the beginning, but now I rarely lose to him at all ;D

 

As for the first time...I don't remember, but I guess I lost.

I didn't defeat him the first time if I recall correctly (it's bee a while), but I have beaten him in rematches and other saves of the game

First play no, second play through of the game, yes, further plays after when I haven't played for ages, no 

No I never managed to beat him. I'm rubbish at racing games, however I got my own back by beating him in the fights

No, I failed horribly. I made every possible mistake.
