This is my personal opinion on what I want to see... of course, a lot of this will be in comparison to the original Kingdom Hearts, because I just find this game absolutely perfect. Alright, I'm going to do it as a list, in no particular order. Here is my oddly specific list of want to see in Kingdom Hearts III. (Top 13)

1.I want to see a scene similar to this:

However, with the main cast of Kingdom Hearts. Specifically with Sora, Riku, Kairi, Aqua, Ventus, Terra, Lea, Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Roxas, Xion, and Naminé. Maybe as a camp out before the final goodbye/battle, or the ending.

2. A LOT more of Donald and Goofy.
I'll be honest, I LOVE Donald and Goofy... which may be why I wasn't as fond of 3D as you guys. It just felt empty without them. Maybe even a mini-story for them. More moments like they had in Kingdom Hearts 3D, where they fell on the enemy. (I loved that scene.)

3. The return of the defensive spell, Aero.
This was my favorite spell in Kingdom Hearts, and I was really upset that it wasn't in Kingdom Hearts II. Not only does it give you a change in battle strategy, but it also could lead to some interesting possibilities! Maybe you're not able to use them in some battles, or some heartless are immune to it.

4. The return of the Heartless, as a BIG threat.
I miss the heartless. They are not only my favorite enemies, but also my favorite creatures from anything Disney! Two of the heartless I REALLY want to see again are:

A. Angel Star

B. Invisible (my favorite heartless in existence.)

5. Less empty worlds.
Okay this is something that REALLY bothered me about Kingdom Hearts 3D. I know it was for flowmotion and such, but there is so much more that could be done! In big squares, but a fountain or a monument! Put people walking around! Make it seem real! So much potential.

6. At LEAST 13 worlds, with multiple visits.
I loved what they did with Kingdom Hearts II, having multiple visits. In KH3, odds are that there will be multiple playable characters. If this happens, they should have different worlds for each character. Its okay to have a few worlds that characters share, but not every single world.

7. Multiplayer.
While not necessary, I think it would be great to have multiplayer in Kingdom Hearts III. Battle multiplayer, similar to the Mirage Arena in Birth By Sleep, but instead with characters like Sora, Riku, Kairi, etc, each having there own unique skills and battle styles. Co-Op multiplayer, like battle a set amount of heartless before this time ends, or maybe team battles, like capture the flag. While we haven't seen anything like this in Kingdom Hearts before, I think it would be a great addition.

8. The return of plot-involved worlds.
In Kingdom Hearts (the original) all the worlds had something very important to the main plot to share, while still having world-specific mini-stories. A perfect example of this would be Neverland. This world was executed PERFECTLY in the original, with Riku's full deception revealed, Kairi found, and all this while still having the Peter Pan vs Hook mini-story. This is something I STRONGLY wish to return.

9. Kairi.
Kairi, Kairi, Kairi, Kairi, Kairi. I cannot stress enough how much I want Kairi to be important again. She can wield a Keyblade, she can be more than a plot device now! She can kick butt now! She can be a WHOLE lot more than what we've seen this far.

10. Multiple playable characters.
There are a vast amount of original Kingdom Hearts characters that have various Keyblade styles. I would be very disappointed if there was not more than one playable character. Be it similar to the drop system, or like Birth by Sleep, I don't care. I just want multiple characters.

11. No Star Wars. AND ESPECIALLY NO MARVEL.
I do not want to see Star Wars in Kingdom Hearts. Ever. Mostly because, through most of the series, they are traveling through space, with knowledge of other worlds. Also, I'm not too big of a Star Wars fan but NO space travel worlds... except maybe Treasure Planet. I could see that executed perfectly. Also, to add to this list, I want to see Pixar Worlds. Toy Story, mostly. Wall-e, maybe. Finding Nemo?... Nah. Monsters Inc? Nope. Cars/Planes? No way. UP, YES!

12. Specific worlds I want to see.
Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Treasure Planet, Tangled, UP, The Great Mouse Detective (one of my favorite childhood movies), Shibuya, Pocahontas, Meet The Robinsons (first visit, good future, Second visit, Bad Future)

13. Playable and re-visitable Destiny Islands, Traverse Town, and Twilight Town.
These are my favorite Kingdom Hearts (original) worlds, and I would love to see them all make a return... not much else to say.

In conclusion, Not all of these have to make an appearance/reappearance, but they would be nice. This are some things that I love about Disney, and Kingdom Hearts, and I believe can be brought together to make an overachieving Kingdom Hearts III.

It's really annoying when people are expecting to see something like that on Kingdom Hearts.

 

"X" franchise doesn't belong to Disney or Square Enix? Don't get your hopes up.

 

And no, recent purchases of Disney don't count.

I should've added "NO MARVEL" to number 11.

I seriously agree with 5,6,7,8,10,11. Especially the Star Wars Point. Star Wars is my FAVORITE movie series, but I don't want it in my Kingdom Hearts. I think Drago Ball Z is kinda cool, but if Disney bought it, there's no way I'd want it in my KH.

 

Back on topic, the points I took above pretty much sum up what I want, but also Commands and either Command Styles or Drives to make a return. Oh, and Command Boards to return. That was some of the most fun I've ever had in the KH franchise.

I hated fighting those heartless.

For 5, Nomura did say in the recent interviews that NPC's may join to fight in your battles against heartless. Not sure if I read that right, but that's what may happen.

 

I agree with numerous of your ideas for KH3, I like Marvel and Star Wars too, but it shouldn't get involved with KH series. on a small chance it does, I would like to see how Nomura will cooperate those two series with KH without screwing the story up.

 

Stuff I wanna see in KH3:

 

1. Lea vs. Isa, Play as Lea and beat Isa up to bring him back to his scenes. Probably occur in the final stages of the game.

 

2. Return of Drive Forms with shotlocks, and flowmotion. Flowmotion was fun.

 

3. SHIBUYA. I want to see the TWEWY gang again. if not possible, then make a crossover game of KH and TWEWY,

 

4. Vanitas to return, No offense to Sora fans, but there is a good chance that Vanitas will take over Sora.

 

5. At least 3 characters playable.

 

6. Play as Kairi for tutorial levels.

I like most of your ideas but I have one more to add. After you've completed a world's story you should be able to go back and replay it. Like in re:coded.

I agree with all of your points, except for a few world choices (not too crazy about Shibuya or Pixar). Other than that we definitely need to see more of Donald Goofy and Kairi. How kh1 dealt with worlds was perfect. I would love kh3 worlds to be like this too.

Most of the places you're going to have heartless spawning in them so maybe that's an explanation of why people aren't around.

In kh2 she could barely wield her key and killed nothing, if they want to make her important (which would be awesome) dat gurl gunna need some trainin' : P

 

 

I've actually never played call of duty O.o is it fun?Also, I know Donald and Goofy are coming back, but I want them to come back in a BIG way, maybe some mini-stories.About the different worlds/different characters, I thought they did it well enough back in BBS, but it gets kinda boring playing through the same world more than once in the same game.About the heartless thing, yeah, I know that the heartless are back, but I'm talking about those two specific heartless. We missed them in KH2. 

Yes. No Star Wars and Marvel. Pixar I'm fine with.

I want to see Shibuya as a world. Also as the OP said, have Kairi actually fight, she has a Keyblade, have her use it! Also give Sora, Riku, and her new clothes in a similar style to Ventus, Terra, and Aqua's, along with their own Keyblade armor to travel across dimensions.

Well here's what i want to See Mostly in KH3 for my Top 13 best want to sees in Kingdom Hearts 3.

 

1. During the Final Scene after Sora and the Other Heroes victory against Xehanort they decided to Restore everything after Master Xehanort's Plans and finally there's a scene where they say their Good Byes and return to their Homes.

 

2. I want to see Kairi, Mickey, Lea, Aqua and Ventus Playable while Xion, Roxas, Terra, Donald and Goofy are playable in the Finale.

 

3. Returning Magic and New Magic: Reflect, Magnet, Aero, Triple Firaga, Triple Blizzaga, Thundaga Shot, Mine Shield and Square, Seeker Mine, Zero Gravity, Balloon, Water, Raise, Stone, and More.

 

4. The Return of Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed and Dream Eaters(Nightmares) as Enemies).

 

5. Better Gameplay System in the Game with the KH DDD gameplay System.

 

6. Flowmotion in the Game since Riku was the Keyblade Master he could use Flowmotion in the Game.

 

7. 13 Worlds only with Multiple Visits and Multiple Party Members

 

8. Return of Some Worlds i personally want to See Worlds that were in Kingdom Hearts Series involved like When The Lion King II Simba's Pride is in the Game where we See the Characters from the Sequel appear.

 

9. Drive Forms, Summons, D-Links, Command Decks, i would like to See Them Return because i liked using these.

 

10. Multiple Playable Characters: I want to see Characters being Played in Multiplayer/Co-Op in the Game.

 

11. Worlds i like to See In Kingdom Hearts 3: Meet the Robinsons, Treasure Planet, Pocahontas, Frozen, Wreck It Ralph, Oliver and Company, and Toy Story.

 

12. Star Wars and Marvel in Kingdom Hearts: Since Disney Now owns Star Wars and Marvel i would like to see The Characters in the Game but no Worlds for their Movies with the Characters joining The Radiant Garden Restoration Committee.
