Posted August 16, 201312 yr Wear and tear in the characters clothes a little blood/scars and sora with some attitude it would probably be rated T And Disney would not allow that would you
August 16, 201312 yr I don't like gore, so I prefer the censored version where you get sparkles instead of blood...
August 16, 201312 yr It wouldn't feel like KH if they went for design choices like that, so no. I don't mind those kinds of things, but KH has always had the feeling of bridging my childhood and my early adult life. It'd kinda screw up the childhood aspect if it had blood.
August 16, 201312 yr Wear and tear in the characters clothes a little blood/scars and sora with some attitude it would probably be rated T And Disney would not allow that would you Attitude? Define Attitude.
August 16, 201312 yr Author Wear and tear is all right, but can I get a definition on "Attitude?"Like maybe the characters could swere here and there
August 17, 201312 yr well i dont really like the idea of a childlike sora suddenly swearing, it was kinda like when i heard Goku swear on the dvd versions of Dragon Ball Z Kai cuz i only ever saw the tv aired versions. And if you want attitude from Sora maybe some of Roxas's attitude will awaken in the next game lol. As far as wear and tear go what you suggest kinda sounds like Batman Arkham City which i think wouldnt really sit well for the atmosphere of kingdom Hearts.
August 17, 201312 yr Like maybe the characters could swere here and there ... Swearing? Please, no. I know Axel swore in the GBA version of CoM, but anything more than that wouldn't fit at all, especially from people like Sora. It's like making it overly mature just for the sake of it being overly mature.
August 17, 201312 yr Like maybe the characters could swere here and there If that's what you mean then no. I think you might be looking for this. Edited August 17, 201312 yr by juma086

August 17, 201312 yr Like maybe the characters could swere here and there I think some people don't understand the meaning of mature, having an attitude doesn't mean swearing like a potty mouth, that's more childish than actual maturity, It's usually shown in good dialogue or even just saying nothing at all just through expressions. A good example is Shadow the Hedgehog, a game which claims to be mature, adding in weaponry and saying 'damn' after every sentence isn't mature or attitudy in the slightest it's more childish and annoying. Swearing can be effective if its conveyed correctly or suits the personality of the character, but for that to properly work for KH you will need to change what characters have been established already. Sora is mainly happy go lucky and Riku has a sarcastic side, swearing wouldn't suit either of them. Attitude is reacting correctly and having a big ego whilst you're at it, not swearing like a lunatic, save potty mouth humor and gags like that for Duke Nukem Forever.
August 17, 201312 yr KH doesnt need blood. And I like blood. But KH is just that magical series that doesnt feel right to have some. Edited August 17, 201312 yr by Sakuraba Neku

August 17, 201312 yr sorry but you are wrong kh is fine as it is and theres no need for blood or any swearing infact is impossible to put that in the game disney would never aloud itWell malifecint did say "hell", if I'm correct I believe in kh1 and com But I think that was once in the games
August 17, 201312 yr Blood maybe if Sora is fighting someone and gets a cut on the arm or something, and all you see is a red slash. Wear and tear would be fine too. Gore and swearing though? No way.
August 17, 201312 yr As for attitude/swearing, I wish KH characters would act a bit more... abrasive. I think it would be an achievement for them to let them use the word "hell' every now and again. But I don't think it would feel right if they used REAL swearing. Also, I'm all for wear and tear to clothes and a scar if it looked like someone got badly hurt in battle (Eraqus, Xigbar, Squall/Leon, etc.). But I have to say no to the blood. This isn't 3rd Birthday, this is Kingdom Hearts.
August 17, 201312 yr If that's what you mean then no. I think you might be looking for this. Wow, that actually looks just like Axel & Roxas if they were in Dragon Ball Z! As for attitude/swearing, I wish KH characters would act a bit more... abrasive. I think it would be an achievement for them to let them use the word "hell' every now and again. But I don't think it would feel right if they used REAL swearing. This isn't 3rd Birthday, this is Kingdom Hearts. But 3rd birthday has wear & tear on the clothing, too. & I'm pretty sure they swear, too. But the swearing part, is just a guess. August 17, 201312 yr But 3rd birthday has wear & tear on the clothing, too. & I'm pretty sure they swear, too. But the swearing part, is just a guess. That was my point. The 3rd Birthday swears what they want and wear and tear what they want. The difference is they take it to a whole another level and its not one KH should be on. KH can do that, just minus some stuff (Like only "hell" as a swear and wear and tear with no blood). After all: This isn't 3rd Birthday, this is Kingdom Hearts.
August 17, 201312 yr I'm for the cartoon scratches and bruises like they did in the manga. No blood though, or gashes, just more of a dirt marking to add to the exhaustion of battle. Edited August 17, 201312 yr by Vexoria
