Square made a really bad choice about putting Kingdom Hearts 3 On Xbox one. They could have at least change the Xbox one to like a Wii (wouldn't that be fun.lol.) or a psp vita or something. So that's what I think about it....whats yours (maybe you don't hate Kh3 being on Xbox one).

No, I don't really. I just think that the Wii-U being less powerful would mean extra time spent on developing a completely separate Wii-U version, or it just being a non-perfect port. Like how a lot of Wii versions of PS3/360 games weren't fantastic. I could be completely wrong though, who knows. Also, with the Wii-U's current sales and install base, Square wouldn't be very enticed to make a version for it.

I hate mindless arguing.. The Wii U will NEVER be as powerful as the PS4 and Xbox One, and it's not a mistake on Square's part because even if one KH3 game gets sold for the Xbox, then it's still a success. Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to sell many copies, regardless if it's on the PS4 or Xbox One. It doesn't matter if Square has worked with Nintendo in the past, those were handheld games, not a console game.

I'm saying they've worked with Nintendo and not Microsoft since Xbox is Microsoft, so this makes perfect sense. Thats all I'm saying. Who freaking cares which is better, the point is we're getting KH3 right? Why should it matter what system its on?

I also want it to be a ps4 exclusive but they need the money and I'm sure Tetsyua Nomura wanted it only on ps4 as well but like I said they need money bad, but it's funny like a middle finger to Microsoft cause they don't get 1.5

The capabilities of the hardware on the Xbone is the only console out that is even close to the PS4.  The Wii and the Wii U are no where near.  The Wii U is only slightly better than the PS3, 7th Gen hardware.  The game is being created on for the PC using Direct X11.  The Wii U and handhelds mentioned can't meet the specifications.

But the PS4 and Xbone can.  We all know SE is cross platforming to make more money since they're constantly experiencing a net loss at the end of each fiscal year.

The Wii U was released early and they can see how well it's performing, compared to the millions of preorders for the PS4 and Xbone many of which have sold out.

They're not going to take the extra time to recreate the game again with lower quality just so it can be playable on other systems.  I think considering how it's being developed for the PC, they could release it also for the PC as it wouldn't require creating it all over again. 

 

End of the day

• Putting a numbered title on a handheld full stop is wrong.  Especially a long awaited one like KH3.  They'll want you to experience the gameplay and graphics on a larger screen.
• It doesn't affect your game, just means that you can't gloat over your Xbone friends going "EY I CAN PLAY IT ON MY SYSTEM AND YOU CAN'T NANANA"

I love that it's on XB1. That was the only reason I was going to get a PS4 (even though I'll need a PS3 for 1.5 ReMix I tell ya what).

There's your answer. X1 and PS4 use DirectX 11. Wii U doesn't. A port would take up that much more time, which, considering the poor Wii U sales, wouldn't be a good financial decision, especially when SE aren't really in the financial position to take gambles.  

I wish people would quit bitching about it being on the Xbox One like jesus christ it boosts production value and doesn't deteriorate from the PS4 version in anyway.

It can handle EQUIVALENT of it.  That means it will take MORE WORK to port it to the Wii U, meaning MORE LABOR, MORE HOURS, and MORE WAGES to be paid for something that going by the sales of the Wii U wouldn't result in a turnover successful enough to justify the extra work and wages.  They're already experiencing a net loss of millions.  Putting their money and resources into something that won't give a good result will be pointless from a business point of view.  People need to realize that making games actually takes work and to change from system to system will cost money, unless the result would be profitable, they're not going to do it.  The reason the PS4 and Xbone were picked because they were similar in hardware meaning they could make the game and easily port it over without having to rewrite the code.  And I know the PS4 doesn't use DirectX11, but it can easily be ported to the PS4 and Xbone than it can the Wii U.

Ok sure the series started on the Playstation, but is that all you're going to tell me? ...But wait! Kingdom Hearts was also on Nintendo consoles as well and they don't get any hate, people want it on the WiiU. So what if Xbox Fans don't get a chance to experience the 1.5 or the 2.5 remixes of Kingdom hearts? ..What THEY don't deserve to experience a great game such as Kingdom Hearts 3 just, BECAUSE Kingdom hearts wasn't on the original Xbox?

 

So if you made a game don't you want everyone to experience a game that you made? And not be held back on a certain console?

I think that it would have made more sense if KHIII was announced to be available on a Nintendo console, even if that console does not exist yet. The KH series has had no past association with the Xbox, so the fact that the long-awaited finale to the Xehanort saga will be available on an Xbox console seems odd.

I'm guessing Microsoft BEGGED square to give them KH3...lol. I think I saw something on the internet say they were buying off companies to allow their previously exclusive game on their console so it wouldn't look as garbage-y as it already is. If KH3 was exclusively PS4, the sales would be like 80-20. God I wish they would have stuck with exclusivity to further MURDER what deserves to be murdered.
