Were you expecting that KH HD 1.5 ReMIX would sell well?

No, not really: I figured the DAYS cutscenes would kinda piss people off, but I've seen bits of it on youtube, and it seems cool to me.

Plus the added material and Heartless in KH and KH CoM.. but I digress:

No, I didn't really think it would sell so well after SILENT HILL 2 and 3 HD REMIX and DEVIL MAY CRY HD flopped.

Well yeah, it was considerably cheap to purchase on launch and these Remasters usually sell quite a lot of copies, due to nostalgia or people trying out the game for the first time.

Never doubted it for a second...well, maybe a tiny bit. Still, is it really that much of a surprise, considering that that was the goal of selling this game anyway?

Well I knew at least 15 people in school who were going to get it and probably more so I expected great things from it

My expectations for this game were sky high, and it definitely delivered!  This is Kingdom Hearts we're talking about, so of course I knew it would sell well!  Now wait and see, when 2.5 comes out, it'll be extinct from retail shelves in less than an hour. o.o

Fool. Oh please. Pretty much everyone on this site ( at the time of releases) new what was going to happen in 358/2 days and Birth by Sleep. And Coded

I was expecting it to do pretty well given how huge the fanbase is. 

 

Plus, Final Mix outside of Japan? Who ISN'T snatching that up?

I expected it to to well but not cause it's a KH game but cause depending on your country there was at least one game that was previously unavailable to the region (and with PAL territories 2 games) unless you imported and not everyone likes importing, also with the disney it does look like a child friendly game and a lot of kids games are bought by their parents.

I never expect anything about sales to be honest but makes me glad that my favourite things are well received.

I can see 2.5 make it even better and we're talking about remasters.

I expected it to sell pretty well, fans have been hungry for this HD remastering ever since the concept first emerged.

Of course! Square Enix did a lot of publicizing in Japan. They even released a schedule of there publicizing plan if I remember correctly. They held lots of events, played videos and ads and everything to build up an amazing hype for the game. 

I already expecting it ever since that game came out...
