Anyways, this monday was my birhtday, and i got some money to blow, some from family, some from what I earned during the summer. This weekend, im going to the mall and I really wana play 1.5 and 2.5 but I dont gotta PS3. I want to preorder a ps4 this weekend too, so what should I do? buy a ps3 or get a ps4? I only have 520 dollars.

get the ps4 & 2.5 first so you dont have to wait any longer from the new one, just save up a lot of money for the ps3 & 1.5 and you can it later.

I'd personally go for the PS3 first since it will be cheaper, you'll get it on the day instead of having to wait and there's not just KH remixes for it but an array of other games you can try and are older so can be bought used or not, the PS4 won't have that when it's launched since it's game will be brand new 

If you get the PS4 now, what games are you looking forward to playing on it once it's out? o.O

If you really want to play 1.5 now and cannot wait, I'd suggest getting the PS3 with 1.5, then you can buy and play 2.5 right when it comes- if you only want the PS4 for KHIII you still have a few years before it'll even be out, and by then the price of the PS4 might go down by $50 or so- but that's just my opinion, the choice is yours! ^^

What other games are you interested in? If you like single player games, get a ps3 first as it has a large backlog of games. It will be between 2 and 2 and a half years before KH3 comes out so hopefully you can save money for when that game releases. Also, that way you could play Infamous Second Son and The Order 1886, instead of just Knack and Killzone (for exclusives).

PS4, maybe, just maybe, at some point in the future, the game will be available as PSN store download,

The PS4 doesn't come out until the 15th, but I'd personally wait to buy it on that day.

I just got a PS3 last weekend and I am loving it so far.  The price is a very attractive thing about it.  Plus, the only 2 games that currently interest me on the PS4 don't even have release dates so it didn't make much sense to buy one and let it sit there and look pretty.  Meanwhile, I have used my PS3 a lot more than I am proud to admit; a plethora of games, most at reasonable prices.  And now I can wait for the PS4 to drop it's price and get a model that will have all the initial kinks worked out.

PS3. KH3 won't be coming out for a few years.

Ps3, there are lots of good games out for PS3, and even though some good games are coming out for ps4, chances are that there are a couple that work for PS3 and PS4, (ubisoft games for example)

 

Also, there are some good SE games coming out next year only for ps3, such as Murdered: Soul Suspect, and Lightning Returns: FF13.

 

Just get PS3, and obtain 1.5 and 2.5, then around 2015, rack up some money and get a PS4. I would wait to see if Nomura plans on making a KH3 PS4 bundle, before getting ps4.

Get PS3 now and then get PS4 when it gets the inevitable Price Cut, Redesign, and the upping of Storage

Let's see. Buy a system with 8 years worth of games and improvements. Or buy a new system with like ten games to its name and unknowns about it's hardware integrity.

 

Get a PS3, catch up on the games you've missed, and by the time you've got money saved up again the PS4 will have an improved model out for you to get. Probably be cheaper too.

I' wrestling with wether to buy the PS3 as well. My suggestion is to look at the games available/going to come out on the PS3. If there's isn't at least ten PS3 games that you really, really want, you probably shouldn't get it. That's my advice.
