I have not played 3D ( going to next year) yet and I was wondering if you guys think its better or worse then Birth by Sleep, I am comparing the two because they are very similar.

That's a matter of personal opinion.

Well it's all based on opinion wheather or not BBS or DDD is better than the other. They both have their pros and cons.

I haven't played Birth by Sleep yet. I'll play it in HD 2.5 ReMIX.

In my opinion, no. DDD is not better than BbS, although I enjoy both!

Story wise I would say BBS was more intriguing to me, game play wise I would say DDD has a slight upperhand.  Overall for me, BBS was better, but I enjoy Aqua, Terra, & Ven a lot more than I enjoy Sora, Riku, & Kairi.  I will definitely say DDD is a great game and it was fully enjoyable.

yea birth by sleep is amazing but the voice acting was terrible compared to KH1, and KH2.

This isn't gonna help  but its a tie. If your looking for fun DDD, and if your looking for story BBS.

Fool. Birth by sleep is better.

BBS is better in my opinion. but ddd is good too.

I'd personally put BBS ranks above DDD for a number of reasons, but I'd rather not go into that again.

It's much much much better than Birth by Sleep in my opinion

 

Birth by Sleep bored the shit outta me

Both are fine games,but BBS is the better game out of the two.

how many worlds does Dream Drop Distance have compared to Birth by Sleep?

I personally liked BBS better, but DDD is still pretty awesome.

Dream Drop Distance has 7 Worlds fully playable and exlporable. Birth By Sleep has 10 worldsBBS was better

I thought BBS was the more streamlined product. It ran better, offered fewer hiccups and the battle system was a little more fluid. On the other hand, I reeeaaaaaally like flowmotion... Altogether I do think BBS is a little better. I dunno it depends on what you're looking for.

It's personal preference.  Depending on the features you like, style of command melding/gathering, whether you like having wee pets, moving really fast, playing multiple characters stories, the worlds that interest you etc it's all down to what you personally like.  For me, I do prefer BBS over DDD.  BBS is actually my favourite game of the series.

It's a great game and just playing it again,this time in hd(and hopefully (re)orchestrated music) is soooo worth it.You'll love it.

Personal opinions. 

 

I actually like both games just about the same. Both have a great story, replay value, and gameplay from my point of view. 

I personally prefer DDD. It felt a lot more fun gameplay-wise. Both are really good though!

I like both, but I prefer BBS cuz of a lot of things.

Personally:

The 3D worlds are huge and explore-worthy. Not only that but it is advised you take time with your Dream Eaters and challenge runs are extremely fun with it(unlike BBS). So while the game itself might be relatively short compared to BBS it might be more fun if you take our time. Plus, if you don't like Dream Eaters, you can always kll them off and play the hardest challenge the game has to offer.

3D Has Flowmotion but not much story. BBS has many more commands, shotlocks, and 3 stories, plus FM has the World of Darkness.

3D Has an AMAZING final world. It's perhaps the biggest world so far in the series (Riku Version) and extremely epic final battles. BBS has great final battles, But I feel like 3D had better bosses, specially AI-wise.

3D Has fully customizable parties. BBS has you alone all the time except a few battles, making it feel like a really "lonely" game.

3D has prettier, 3D graphics and better models(Aqua's model alone is tons better in 3D) until 2.5.

3D has a lot of exploring alike BBS, but the post-game is really boring, with only Julius and an extremely difficult to obtain Keyblade that only LOOKS cool. BBS has the secret episodes, along with really awesome secret bosses.

3D has better voice acting.

People usually say 3D is more difficult than any game in the series so far in the harder difficulties.

BBS wins in multiplayer.

Honestly, both have ups and downs. I personally never played BBS but I've watched full walkthroughs of it. I prefer 3D, but my opinion might have been different if I had BBS.

I have replayed each character's story in Birth by Sleep about a dozen times on different difficulties and imported Final Mix from Japan- I beat DDD once, I definitely prefer BbS but to each their own! ^^
