Seriously guys, Square Enix can do what they want with their games. If you don't like the new version of a game stick to the ten or twenty year old version. If you don't like a sequel of a game don't play it. You don't have too. No one's forcing you too. Square Enix releasing a port, remake, remaster or sequel isn't going to delay FINAL FANTASY XV or Kingdom Hearts III. So if you don't like a port/remaster/remake or sequel just ignore it.

It is generalization (To Generalize:"make general or broad statement by inferring from specific cases."), because he was at the time implying that a majority  of KH13 talks badly about FF, which is of course not true. What he should have said, and has corrected himself is of Final Fantasy discussers. But even that statement is still false.

Generalization ,as I 've edited in my post , especially in THIS case,means that every EVERY member talks badly about FF .And ,of course , that's not true. But Sora96 ,using the "majority" ,was right on this one .

He said

That is a generalization, he thinks that most of the members who discuss final fantasy say this, when it's actually only five or so people.

Saying a large group of people are bad because of what a couple people do is a generalization.

MOST of the members . Not everyone, to be precise .

Umm read the definition of generalization again... The majority of people don't talk badly about Final Fantasy. He was wrong in his word choice, and so are you right now

I'd call it a fight when it resorted to insulting and overall meanness. I don't see any reason why you or I would do that when we were just talking about the correct use of words, nothing bad about that.

I couldn't care less what Square Enix wants to do. I give every game a chance, I don't dismiss things before they are released. To date FFXIII was the worst in the series and to me is just an absolutely horrible game in general. But hey, XIII-2 came along and I still gave it a chance. It might have also turned out crap but that is not the point. And I am still going to give LR a chance.

But you can't really sit there and generalize a portion of the site. A lot of the people now dislike SE now, but only stick with them mainly due to KH and FFXV. But they have good reason. Square has made a lot of mistakes, and honestly ruined the FF series for a lot of people due to not only XIII but also that they decided to create 2 sequels for it.

 

You post stuff, people complain, then you complain about them complaining, and then people complain about you complaining about them complaining. It is just a circle of complaining, that usually originates from you. So don't complain.

 

This got ridiculous.

 

Everybody has their opinion, but don't go around "generalizing" people.

 

Instead of judging what's on a thread, talk with that person about it.
