How Good Are You At Sneaking Games?

Posted

So KH13 members, how good are you at games that involve sneaking and getting past enemies without being detected? Are you good at sneaking or are you bad at it?

In Assassin's Creed III every Redcoat in the British army saw me- I detest sneaking games and would much rather just hack and slash my way through

I beat MGS3 on European Extreme, but it's the easiest Metal Gear there is other than MAYBE 4, so that's not saying much. I gave up on MGS2. I'm doing pretty good without getting caught in ACIV, so I guess it just takes practice.

I consider myself bad at it. I'm more of a fighting player than a sneaking.

In Metal Gear Solid, everybody will wind up dead. In Dishonored, more often then not they will all be dead. Assassins Creed, desynchronized because not sneaky.

I suck at them is what I'm saying.

I can't sneak because I like to attack and when I attack I am spotted, that is why I have to defeat tons of people in Hitman

I've never really had to do sneaking in most games (bar a few little segments like in Beast's Castle in KH2), I complete them, I wouldn't say I'm excellent and I don't think I'll enjoy a stealth game.

The only stealth game I've played is Sly Cooper, so I can't say too much, but I'm pretty bad at being sneaky in that one. xD

I'm a blackstar when it comes to stealth games. Why be stealthy when you can just stab your enemy in the head

Exactly!

The only sneaking I've had to do in a video game was KH 358/2 Days and Portal (those Turrets). And I was really bad doing so in both......so many re-starts and deaths x'D

Blackstar? Does that mean you're either good at stealth or bad at them?

I like to think that I'm good in sneaking past enemies. There is one problem with some stealth games like Dishnored, Deus Ex and Metal Gear games, "Do not kill anyone" achievements! For example MGS 4: all that weapon customization but I can't shoot anyone! I got the trophy for that and I was happy, but Dishonored shows that I have no kills in every mission but I didn't get the achievement and in Deus Ex I'm half way through the game and I hear of a bug, leave enemies in air ventilation and they might die and count as a kill, and that happened. Should go back to Deus Ex and get the "Foxiest of the hounds" achievement (don't set off any alarms) mainly because the name is a Metal Gear reference :D

Edit: Any good stealth game recommendations?

Portal, Splinter Cell, and The Last of Us are good sneaking games.

Well I am getting Thief for the PS4 so i should be good after I play through that.

I'm great at games like that. The Splinter Cell serries and Hitman are my favorite games. (after kh). I've never gotten into Assassins creed though.

I'm awful. Like, so bad that it takes me 10+ tries in some parts of The Last of Us (which I'm pretty sure isn't exactly considered a stealth game, or even thought to be that challenging in the stealth regard), on the easiest difficulty, with literally every single player help function there is turned on.

Luckily, most games I play don't involve much stealth. And those that do will sometimes just have the option to fight your way through. X_X

I never get spotted when robbing a warehouse in AC4. also my sneak skill in skyrim is in the legendary zone.

I'm good, but it usually always end up being the same. I'm super stealth ninja Mission Impossible for like 10 Mins.., than I'm caught and its either I get unfairly brutally murdered or I becom Michael Myers.

I suck at AC games now but I don't complain Ubusoft is moar concerned about the combat and SHET -.-

Oh yeah and FYI, Their called Stealth games, Gaming nerd here :>

I hate sneaking games.

Im exceptionally good at them.
