Sora was walking down the street one day and got hit by a cement mixer.
Riku was walking down the street one day and did NOT get hit by a cement mixer.
Therefore, Riku is more immune to getting hit by cement mixers than Sora.
This argument is absurd and broken. It's drawing its conclusion based on evidence that isn't really there. Sora isn't biologically more likely to be hit by cement mixers than Riku; he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Also, Riku isn't more immune to cement mixers than Sora: he might have just thought to look both ways before crossing the street.
The whole myth that has emerged from the ending of DDD is that Riku has somehow become better at handling the Darkness than Sora, that his heart is stronger, etc, etc. Really, I don't see how this is the case, or that this is proven at all during the plot of DDD. Yes, Sora gets jumped by Team Xehanort, but that's basically because they pulled the equivalent of dragging him into a back alley and gagging him with chloroform. Sora's not falling into Darkness because his heart is weak, or because he's somehow more susceptible. He fell into Darkness because he essentially got kidnapped.
The main difference here is that Sora's trip-up at the end of DDD isn't due to his own volition. This is important, because Sora has demonstrated time and time again that he's able to overcome his own temptations towards the forces of Darkness based around his own free will and personal strength; he's able to NOT give into anger, to NOT listen to the nagging doubts in the back of his head, and, when he does have slip-ups (like in Chain of Memories, when he tells Donald and Goofy to leave), he's capable of learning from those mistakes and growing. He's no more prone to falling into Darkness than Riku.
