I saw a video that brought up a very good point. What if the BbS trio are older when they return? True, Aqua looked the same in Blank Pints as she did in the game, even after 12 years of wandering the Realm of Darkness, but that could simply be the result of the developers not wanting to make a separate model just for one scene. It was once thought that those without hearts i.e Nobodies no not age, but this was disproved by Namine, Xigbar and, most evidently, Zexion. True one could argue that Xigbar's grey streak was due to the influence of Xehanort's heart and that Zexion, Having power over illusions simply made himself appear older, but there's no denying that Namine's KHII model is taller then her Re:CoM one.

maybe for Ven and Terra but I thought the time in the realm of darkness moves much slower then how time works in the realm of light, so Aqua would still be the same age I think.

 

But a more mature Aqua won't hurt either :)

The only one I have a hard time accepting not aging is Terra. His body has been out and about, aging, for most of the games. Now, for him, they wouldn't have to make a new model.

Terra would probably be the only one who has aged because his body has existed in the RoL from the beginning. However one cold argued the reason that Xemnas appears older because of the influence of MX's heart it could also be argued that Terra's body could morph back into his teenage form once free of MX's influence. As for Aqua and Ventus they won't age if they did it isn't a noticeable change. Time flows differently in the RoD so what is ten years in the RoL could be a month in the RoD. Ventus's body does not age because of the absense of his heart judging by the appearance of Roxas it does not seem like Ventus's heart would change his body's appearance once it returns. Remember its the heart that shapes the vessel.

Nomura said time passes differently in the Realm of Darkness. Also, KH3D explicitly says Naminé had a heart. Honestly, the only ones that would break the "you can't age without a heart" argument would be Saïx, who is implied to not have grown a heart, and Axel, who apparently didn't have a heart by the time Larxene joined, and we know from KHIIFM that some years have passed since BBS and Marluxia joining, so that's another thing they weren't consistent with.

Actually, they have to make new models for literally everyone since the graphics are now different.

first when did namine grow? second the other nobodies could have aged first then changed into nobodies? hmmm?

 

also i agree that TAV should be older for the fact that a nobody is the body's empty shell then this should mean that Xemnas is Terra's body

If you look at her CoM and KHII models, you can see that her dress rises higher on the KH II one implying she got taller.

No, we clearly see Ienzo as a child after is heart was removed in the beginning of DDD, we also see that Braig is without is Xigbar's trademark ponytail.

Terra could've aged a little dependent on his time in the RoL but this is murky with his body being taken over as well

 

Aqua would barely age due to time flowing differently in the RoD confirmed by Nomura himself .

 

Ven wouldn't age due to his heart leaving his body and being in Sora . His body shown in CO at the end of DDD confirms this as well.

 

As for nobodies , they are not suppose to grow bc they have no hearts as said by Nomura. The nobodies could possibly start growing again if they started to regrow hearts though if you think about it .Some of the old org could've grown and aged more before they were turned to nobodies as well ( like Zexion, Saix, and Axel for example). Xigbar is turning into Xehanort and the grey hair could be from being a Nort .

Since Radiant Garden was pretty much destroyed one year after BBS, Lea and Isa would probably have become Nobodies around that point or before since their backstory connects with the castle. I find it pretty hard to believe that they would have first arrived in Traverse Town and lost their hearts year later.

Yeah , I did not use the correct word . I meant that it's gonna cost more and it's gonna take some more time . But if SE does not mind these , we will probably see new models .

I don't think they'll make Aqua older. Ansem didn't age at all in the Realm of Darkness. Ventus isn't aging. The only one who has clearly aged is Terra, and he's not even REALLY Terra by this point, but Xemnas. So, I don't know.

 Saix and Axel joined the org  AFTER the apprentices did and that was a minimum of a year after BBS- so they could've grown some ( especially during this age of puberty) so I don't know what your point is if you even have one.. My point is they would've grown from the time we saw them in BBS. Also for all you know the apprentices could've kept on doing experiments after becoming nobodies and returned to the lab where they could've found and kidnapped a curious Lea and Isa and forced them into more experiments. We know they wanted to become human again ( except for Xehanort and Xigbar who knew the plan but were lying to them ) so wanting to experiment further to find out more could be possible. Lea awoke with his cloak on meaning he lost his heart with it on and this would make sense if the apprentices put it on him beforehand knowing he would already need it.  Anyways, regardless, for you to say teenage boys wouldn't grow at all during that time would be ridiculous. The only person I feel is an issue is Zexion since he was so small in BBS . He would've had to had grown more before becoming a nobody and then grown a heart as a nobody to grow some more at the rate he needed to grow to make sense.We just don't know what happened during that time period to say for sure period.

I think the theory that people without hearts don't age is right! Ventus doesn't have a heart inside his body right now...so that's why he's not aging. For Aqua, it's because time flows differently in the Realm Of Darkness that she didn't age. I see the Realm Of Darkness like the KH version of Valhalla from FFXIII...for the Nobodies that aged like Zexion well it's simply because they had hearts. Xemnas said it in KH3D, remember? I actually don't like the fact that Axel/Lea aged because it makes him like 27 years old and his friends are 15 years old! It's just weird...

Terra should be older since his body is being used. 

 

Ventus will not have aged since his body has no heart but it might change at least a little once his own heart comes back if he has memories of Sora, Roxas and Xion's experiences(just so it won't be so tragic that he lost so many years, but who knows)

 

Aqua wouldn't be that much older in the RoD but it would be nice if her hair was longer as a more symbolic sign of her struggles.

I always figured that Namine got taller because Kairi did. Since they are the same person I figured it made sense.

 

As for aqua, I dont think that she can age in the realm of darkness, but they could have 12yrs realm of light = 1 year in the realm of darkness as an excuse to make her hair longer or something.

We see both Aqua and Ven during the end of KH3D, and they're both unchanged. For Ven, this is because his heart is within Sora. For Aqua, it's because of being in the Realm of Darkness. Aqua's conversation with Ansem the Wise in Blank Points occurs after KH2, so at least ten years have gone by in the Realm of Light and she hasn't aged.

 

I'm really not sure what they'll do about Terra. We know that Xemnas has Terra's physical body (they even use the exact same face model, if you recolor an image of Xemnas you get Terra with longer hair and vice versa), and that body has aged. HOWEVER, this is Kingdom Hearts. They can justify ANYTHING. My theory is that since Aqua and Ven still look the same, even after 10+ years, Terra will also look the same when he returns, if for no other reason than for the TAV trio to look the same when they're reunited as they did when they parted ways.

 

I also have a theory that Terra-Xehanort from BBS is one of the hooded Xehanorts whose face we never saw in KH3D. If that is the case, then THAT Terra could be freed (and look the same) and Xemnas could still exist.
