What if...there was a difficulty above Critical mode...that would be INSANE! The only way to get to this mode is to beat the game on all the other difficulty. I believe in Critical the enemies does 2 times the damage so what if in this new mode enemies does 3 times the damage but, to even things out, you get all the keyblades & magic from your previous playthroughs and during this playthrough, you get brand new keyblades!

Fool. At that point, more damage won't really matter. Kingdom Hearts should just make smarter ai with every difficulty. The ability to parry your attacks or dodge them.

New stuff in a higher difficulty? I'm game. harder difficulty? I'm game for that too. It would make the gameplay a lot more interesting. So, I'm game. Bring it

I'm all for it- maybe Birth by Sleep would actually be challenging

 

With tougher difficulties I just want enemies to have more if not twice as much HP; like when you re-challenge bosses in Dream Drop Distance, only the bosses throughout the story have huge HP bars with me dealing less damage

Keeping your equipment and getting difficulty exclusives in isnt very realistic. They wouldnt let you keep your keyblades and abilities because that would take away from it being difficult. I would be fine with the bosses getting new stronger attacks in higher difficulties

Make it any more challenging and I won't be able to get past the first boss x'D

Depends, hardcore players like me would love it.. especially if harder difficulties come along with better AI for the enemies

Critical Mode is enough, plus you can add your own restrictions on to it. I see no reason for a higher difficulty.

Honestly, I'm all up for it!  I've played all the Kingdom Hearts games in their most difficult modes and I've felt thrilled by the challenge, so if there's a difficulty level beyond Critical Mode, I say bring it on!  I will enjoy the countless deaths and the grinding determination to level up to the point of having almost invincible powers!  Yes, and facing off the secret bosses in the hardest mode would be the ultimate challenge!  I say bring it on, bring all the Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed and Dream Eaters that you want!  I eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner!  

Just play any of the games at level one on critical mode without Second Chance or Once More. You'll get that "harder than Critical" mode quite easily that way.

lol. Critical 3DDD is EASY sauce as long as you level up and have the proper dream eaters.
