Anyone else really hope that Sora is gonna be a lot more mature than last time? Not to the point where he isn't the Sora we all know and love. I know Nomura already said that he's done a lot of growing up but I'm wondering what he's going to be like. I just want him to be able to fight and not get called a wimp like Xigbar said to him in KH2. Even though he's more mature I really want him to still have those cute moments with Donald and Goofy because their relationship is adorable

He sees the good before the bad, he sees everything and everyone in a good way. So no, I do not want Sora to be more mature. Seeing him as the way he is now, is perfectly fine with me.

Tetsuya Nomura already stated in an interview that Kingdom Hearts III will have a more mature Sora, so you have nothing to worry about.

Maybe he'll be more focused and less prone to distractions? That would make him more mature while retaining his personality

I don't think he will, since I think Nomura knows just how much the fans love Sora. However, the game has to be realistic to some extent. Therefore growing up must take place. I think Sora learned this lesson in DDD.

Nah. Show him going towards the final step of 'growing up', but I'd hold off on a REALLY mature Sora until KH4/whatever the next one after 3 will be called. I'd set that game a few years after KHIII so that they're all in their late teens/early twenties. Then you can REALLY start getting into the mature stuff. (Like maybe finally starting a real romantic relationship with a certain redhead?)

I think they'll show Sora's maturity by how he reacts when he finally learns what exactly happened to the people he needs to save. Then he'll walk into the final battle wearing the glasses and mustache he wore in KH3D.

well by "Mature Sora" do you mean a grown up Sora? Or do you mean a mentally "mature" Sora?

I love Sora just as the next person but I hope Sora becomes a little smarter in Kingdom Hearts 3. In Dream Drop Distance when Joshua was explaining that Rhyme's dreams was his gateway between worlds, Sora didn't understand until Joshua explain it something different until Sora was able to understand.

If Sora killed anyone who called him unfit for the Keyblade, that would make him a serial killer. But also it would make him a very violent character. Would that be mature enough?

 

Also, I'd like to see Xehanort succeed in making him his 13th vessel with the help of Vanitas. The darkness will completely change his personality.

sora is my favorite charecter of all time video games or not so to see him became more mature would be cool depending on how its executed for example riku die's sora becomes more like cloud from advent children or his friends are hurt sora blames himself becaming much more serious. something like that would be cool but personaly i like sora just the way he is
