Was the possibility of Kingdom Hearts games being someday release for the PS3 one of the reasons that made you buy it?

I bought it partly with the idea that KHIII would be on it, but not only because of that obviously

I bought it knowing eventually a KH game will be released on it and that other series I like also tend to be on Sony or multi-plat.  It's KH and a Sony platform, it's a no brainer.  Currently now have a PS2, PSP, PS3, N64, 3DS, DS, Wii U and 360 sitting in my room.  Pretty satisfied with stuff.

Wasn't expecting it actually.

1.5 was the first game on my PS3(yes, I got my PS3 last year)

I still don't have a PS3

I bought my PS3 when the HD remixes were announced.

I bought mine a lonnnggg time ago.

Bought it around the time FFXIII came out so it wasn't the only reason I have a PS3 today.

I actually bought mine after my PS2 broke. I got one of the older models that could play PS2 games, so I could keep playing my old games (including KH), but it malfunctioned about a year or so later. So I got a new PS3, and later bought a PS2 so I could keep playing KH. 

 

Of course, I got KH 1.5 as soon as it came out, and sold my old copies. I still have KH2, but I'm going to sell that too once KH 2.5 comes out.

Fool. Yeah, it's why I bought it.

Nope. My dad wanted it to watch Blu-ray discs, but that never happened. Still worth it.

When I bought my PS3, I thought that would be the platform KH3 was gonna be released on. Still getting plenty of use out of it though

Nope , not at all.

yeah,I bought my PS3 because some people here predicted the KH HD collections and at the time Versus XIII(and possibly KH3) was a PS3 title.

If KHIII wasn't for the PS4, I would have bought immediately a PS3 to play the HD ReMIXes. But since KHIII will be released for PS4 (and since I've already played and finished all the original Final Mixes) I'm going to buy a PS4 just to play KHIII (and other games probably )

I bought my ps3 because I had Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix Limited Edition, but no ps3

Kingdom Hearts are the main reasons I do buy a console, being handheld or home console, because usually wherever console Kingdom Hearts game is, usually has a very good library of games I'm interested in (mainly consisted of JRPGs).

however if I could  afford a new console right now, would be WiiU, first ever home console I would open an exception - main reason, Robin in Smash Bros and the backwards compability Wii games (I'm highly interested in their JRPGs - Rune Factory, Pandora Towers, The Last Story, etc)

I bought mine after 1.5 was out and 2.5 was announced (and KH3 was announced for ps4/xbone), so it was a factor. However, the bigger factors were the Tales of games and Person 5 being announced.

KH 1.5 coming to PS3.

Me: "Cool! Can I have PS3?"

Parents: "Ok".

It is the only reason

Considering that my PS3 was a surprise Christmas gift that my brother got for our TV (Well the label said it was from Santa to our TV) I didn't even know we were going to have a PS3 in the first place.
