The burst attacks with low FP are incredibly useful, not to mention the disappearing powers. Mia from Golden Sun. Gotta love that Ply. Terra from Final Fantasy VI. One-girl wrecking crew, right here. Solaire from Dark Souls. Any man willing to go toe to toe with Ornstien and Smough is someone who will stand by you to the end. Sora from Kingdom Hearts, because that kid is going places, let me tell you. A Koffing from Pokémon, because Poison types are the best. Shulk 8,623 Posted December 12, 2014 Shulk (Xenoblade)- Team leader and powerhouse. His visions would also be helpful in combat. Reyn (Xenoblade)- The tank of the team. He'd distract the enemies for the others. He'd probably also be the guy keeping everyone together with his jokes and spirit. The Dragon Warrior/Hero (Dragon Quest IX)- Going off of my game, he'd be the team Paladin. A hard hitter who can also heal is useful no matter what. Gold (Pokemon Silver/Gold/Crystal. If trainers don't count, Feraligatr)- This might be cheating, but Gold's team of Pokemon would make him useful in any situation. The (arguably) most powerful Pokemon Trainer in the world would definitely be a great team member. Celes (Final Fantasy VI)- Celes can pretty much take on any job necessary. She commands powerful magic, and is skilled with a sword. Frog (Chrono Trigger)- Another attacker/healer character, though I personally like to focus him more on attacks. His skills with the Masamune would make him helpful. Neku Sakuraba (The World Ends With You)- Neku's wide variety of attacks would make him a powerful team member. Ness (EarthBound)- A third attacker/healer... I have a lot of those. However, he's also really good for attacking a lot of enemies with PSI Rockin'. Guest Posted December 12, 2014 My personal choices with in-depth reasons to: 1: Shulk (Xenoblade Chronicles) What can I say about this guy? He hits hard, relatively fast, and can SEE AND CHANGE THE FUTURE. When used in conjunction with my next choice, the duo is nearly unstoppable. Shulk is a glass cannon, capable of 100% of the time critical strikes, with already extremely high damage. He comes prepared with multiple skills for every situation (Like skills to negate buffs) and his weapon ROCKS. Mixture of sweet laser blade and small buster sword. His ability to dodge and move is also incredible. Also, he knows the secrete to changing the future: A strong, unbreakable will. A man on a mission will not be stopped. (Honorable Mentions: Riki, Dunban) 2: Robin(Fire Emblem: Awakening) Robin, Robin, Robin! A tactical genius of the ages! With all the knowledge in tactics he has, and Shulk's visions working together allows for the team to be able to handle everything! Combine that with his ability to do medium damage with both magic and weaponry, and he's an incredible teammate!. 3: Pit(Kid Icarus: Uprising) Pit Hades PITHADES PIIIIIIT ...Hadeeees... ACHOO. Every team needs a lovable, goofy, funny dope who can be a bit helpless at times. He's a capable fighter, in use with a multitude of weapons from bows to gigantic clubs about the size of his body. Or mech suits. He's goofy, silly, funny, able to joke in even the most stressful situations, and is an AVID gamer.What more could you want in a cheer leader? I'm no cheerleader! I'm the guardian of the Goddess Paletenua! ..sure... 4: Link (The Legend of Zelda) The Hero of Time, wise, courageous, and strong, given the blessing of a goddess and having the strength to defeat armies single-handedly. Huge stamina, strength, and an unbreakable will. A army needs a leader, and no man is better for the job. Being able to tank and attack, and inedible stamina to boot makes him an ideal main. That dosen;t even account for his puzzle-solvine abilites. Hyah! 5:The Fossil Fighter (Fossil Fighters) This kid controls TYRANNOSAURUS REX'S AND VELOCIRAPTORS. Do I need say more? I doubt it. 6: Roxas (Kingdom Hearts, 2 bring the specific incarnation) WELL, IT'S TOO LATE. What can I say about Roxas... He Dual-wields, rocks powers the Organization normally only has access to, he can mix light and heavy attacks in a nice, flowing stream as well as incorporate great amounts of light-based magic damage. He's willful, strong, proud, and won't just give up, even in the darkest times. 7: The Medic(Team Fortress 2) Now I know, TF2, is normally not considered a RPG in the traditional sense. However, because of how loony these characters are, how specific their weapons can be, and their specific traits in battle, I would say you kind of have to put yourself in the roll of your class, in a sense. Onto why I chose the Medic. His Medigun gives us the much needed healing factor the team lacks, and as an excellent evil doctor, he heals very well. His ability to Uber teammates, increasing their power or making them invulnerable to certain things makes him great defensively, and he is no slouch in combat either. He's a much needed teammate for this team. 8:The OC(Roleplay stories) As you never stated what KIND of RPG we were limited to, I have to bring this in as a top. An OC can be whatever a player wants them to be, molded by the person playing them, they are as unique and powerful as the writer is. Their weapons, skills, and personalities are all able to be manipulated down to the T, and a lot of fun can be had with them That's my personal RPG top 8 Team!
