Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] is still exclusive to Japan and currently has no plans to be localized. What are your thoughts on Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] being extremely connected to the rest of series, as the Book of Prophecies

in the HD version of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded from Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX? What do you think about Ephemera and that Chirithy turning darker? On a first impression it seems like Chirithies aren't so innocent after all.

They've made it painfully obvious that the Tome of Prophecy is pretty much the basis of Xehanort's plan.

"On that land shall darkness and light expire". This line is spoken in 3D, KH III and written in the Tome of Prophecy.

There are likely more details that will come into play.

But we didn't learn anything about him, he just appeared spoke cryptically and fought you. The details in chi are shaping up to be much more explicit.

I'm not watching that. The reason haven't seen the yet is because I haven't gotten to Re: Coded yet and I''m avoiding spoilers. I'm just saying, unless this game is localized, they'll have to put the entire tome in KH III, and we don't know how much of it there is yet to be revealed. We have at least 1 more year before KH II comes out, possibly 2, that's two more chapters at least that they could put out before IKH II is released.

Just a question/thought concerning Ephemera...

While it is true that he resides in another faction (depending on what union you chose at the beginning), does it not also stand that Ephemera resides within your union? And following with that, does that also mean that the Black Chirithy is also a part of your union?

Or maybe the better question that is to be asked is how can Ephemera wield the power of the Tome of Prophecy, just like you? None of the other prior Keyblade wielders residing in Daybreak Town could... Or is Ephemera just another illusion created by the Tome, and if this is the case, for what end did the Tome create him (other than his cuteability factor, of course)? Will he be like Chirithy and be slowly corrupted?

 

Also, a slight detour from the whole Ephemera talk: why is there a typewriter in the Moogle Shop? This alone is making me question how "ancient" the keyblade war actually is...

Xehanort's Keyblade most likely belongs to the sixth apprentice remember the keyblades were created by the original Seekers of Darkness. It only makes sense that the first Keyblade belongs to the sixth apprentice seeing as he looks to be the leader of the darknesses.

KH3 is going to be so epic...all these little things are building up (Book of prophecies, lost masters, Ancient keyblades and everything) and it's all gonna blow up in our faces in KH3 Can't wait!

Hm... but what is that brief thing referring to? The person himself? The story of Chi? Ephemera's Chirithy? The actual player?

Somehow, I've got a feeling that the Book of Prophecies are one of the methods that Master Xehanort will be used as a Time Travel from a faraway past like the Era of the Keyblade War since the book holds the power of transcending time. Also, that book can also be the source of how Xehanort get his Keyblade since it's the most ancient. But yeah, I could be wrong from this assumptions...

I have a feeling KH3 will widen then universe even more. Just like how KH2 did and BBS did. Now that I think of it. We knew basically next to nothing in the first KH.

Another kind of random question for you guys:

 

For Card Draw, the Moogle is standing next to (what is presumed to be) the Tome of Prophecy in the little advert before you click the "draw cards" button. The Moogle also gets the cards that you draw from the book. 

So how is it that the Moogle, of all people/things, gets the Tome of Prophecy?

 

Also, is this Moogle (in Card Draw) the same Moogle in-game, and, if so, the same one who was present during the Crystals of Life event? If so, they do know that something is up.

(I'm reading the translation here and in it, someone (denoted "???") is talking with the Moogle. Was it ever figured out, for those of you veteran players, who this person was?)

I love how people are freaking out about this. I played Chi, then i quit cause it was ruining my life. If the story is important to KHIII it'll be told in KHIII. At least you'll get a synopsis like you got in 3D for every OTHER game.

That's all I'm asking for. As long as we get the full story of Chi before KHIII comes out, I'll be happy.
