I think I'm not the only one in this especially with Nomura's tendancy to reuse old worlds over and over again but..........please.No more rehashed worlds in KH3

 

Like.....the maximum of old worlds I can accept to be brought back might be Agrabah(cuz there is still one Aladdin movie left) and maybe...........maybe Twilight Town

 

I'm really getting sick and tired of KH1 worlds being reused in so many games despite the fact that they already used and done with the plot of their movies.Sure the Colosseum was showcased in that alpha footage Nomura showed in 2013 but I hope the colosseum won't make it to the final game unless they allow us to visit the town below the colosseum....otherwise no I don't wanna see the colosseum again

 

 

Also,if you're gonna have a tutorial world please for the love of God don't let it be Traverse Town or Destiny Island.....let us start somewhere else cuz getting a feeling of deja vu isn't what I wanna feel when playing what's possibly the biggest entry in the series

 

 

Also give other old classic Disney movies more love.Like seriously you have a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge backlog list of classic Disney movies especially the animated ones yet you either keep reusing the same ones from KH1 or include the CG ones

 

Just.....don't let me go through the same shit again but in HIIIGH DEFINITION.

 

No more Halloween Town,No More Wonderland,No more Monstro,no more Neverland and most importantly no more Olympus Colosseum(Seriously that world has been in every KH game except DDD)

I never did understand why people hated the reuse of certain worlds.

 

In terms of differences between KH1 and KH2,

Agrabah in KH2 looks very different from how it did in KH1. Olympus added in the Underworld to actually fill out that world even better. The addition of Christmas Town and making Halloween Town smaller than it was in KH1 made the world feel different. Hollow Bastion was completely re-designed. Atlantica was made far smaller (although that world still sucked).

 

 

I do agree that there needs to be more worlds based on classic films. Jungle Book has been a world that seems like a no brainer for KH3 (unless they cut it yet again). I'd love a world based on Basel or Robin Hood or heck even Treasure Planet. No doubt we'll be getting Frozen (that can't be avoided at this point I think). As long as they stay away from flat out ripping worlds from the past and barely changing anything then I'm fine with the option to re-visit worlds from past games. I know Twilight Town and Radiant Garden probably won't be changed too much, but additional areas can definitely solve this or maybe even populating the world with more NPCs.

 

I do expect some repetition with the worlds in KH3, but that's because it is the norm at this stage. We'll no doubt get a world based on Mickey Mouse (Timeless River, Fantasia and Disney Town as examples) but I hope we see a world from his jump from black and white to colour. With the new engine and all that Kingdom Shader nonsense they could definitely create a world that feels like it's an old Disney cartoon. I do wonder if they'll go about re-visiting worlds more than once like in KH2 or if they'll opt to give us more worlds at the expense of only maybe visiting once.

 

But yeah, I'm all for visiting worlds again if it's needed. I really want to see them do a King of Thieves story for Agrabah.

We're now friends over mutual hatred for Wonderland in Kingdom Hearts.

To be honest, I doubt that the Olympus Coliseum will be removed in KHIII,since not only is the main part of the mini games,but it's also the place where you can only fight against FF characters. But yeah,I could be wrong as Nomura might have an idea to pull this thing through...

I never said Radiant Garden should be removed cuz that's basically the central hub world for the series ever since KH2

I disagree too, but probably other reasons from most here:

I would like old worlds in KH3 because if we have many new worlds, it means that a world with great potentialthat I like will probably be bad, or a world that I hate will be there(Frozen, which seems likely to apear in KH3, sadly... And can be, sadly, Atlantica style) 

As for OC: We had that world so many times because of the tournament there- People like the world because it, which gives reason to make it over and over.

That said, we never had new worlds in the side games(Re:CoM, Day. and Re:Coded), so they are just using old worlds.

BBSDDD for example had many new worlds, some of them were pretty disappointing.

 

So unless Square can actually not disappoint with a new world that I like, or not putting worlds that I'll hate with passion, I prefer old worlds.

I think KH2 and BBS both did a good job of mixing old and new worlds,but yeah I'm also sick of seeing Wonderland and the same other worlds for the tenth billion time.It didn't bother me at first,but when I played ReCoded I was really bored because of it.

All I want is a good mix of new and old instead of the ridiculous bullshit of Chain of Memories and Re:Coded....those two games feel like KH1 Abridged

Luckily there's only a low amount of old worlds i want returning,even then i don't mind because the massive difference in how returning worlds are going to look.

I see what you mean. Yes, most of us want new and exciting worlds to visit. However, this is the end of the Dark Seeker Saga. There are worlds that have been affected by Xehaort and therefore must return. Sora and company also have relationships with various characters from various worlds. Outside of the Kingdom Hearts universe, most of these worlds have more stories to tell, as the movies they represent have sequels.

 

Most of the original worlds will probably return. Destiny Islands, Radiant Garden, and Twilight Town will all be there. Out of those, I can only see Radiant Garden getting a huge revamp in layout. Castle Oblivion will return and probably be restored to the Land of Departure. And The World That Never Was and the Keyblade Graveyard will return as huge end game spots.

 

I don't want Olympus Coliseum to return, but at the same time the full plot of the Hercules movie hasn't been used. I want to fight all three titans. And the relationships Sora has with the characters of that world seem to be the most real and genuine.

I agree for the most part, there are tons of opportunities for new worlds based on Disney stories. Saying that, I would really like to see Halloween Town and the Pride Lands again. The original worlds like Radiant Garden are a given.

KH3 is the conclusion of the story, Sora has so many friends he promised he would see again, so it's time we concluded those stories as well

Also you talk as if each world is 'rehashed' in any way but graphics. Each time a world is reused it's given a new story, and more often than not new areas to explore
