Who do you think should replace Leonard Nemoy as Xehanort?

No matter how good of a replacement they get, Leonard Nimoy can never truly be replaced. He made the character of Master Xehanort his own, which makes it difficult to emulate.

At least someone who can sound similar to Leonard Nimoy when he voice Master Xehanort. But no matter which actor they choose Leonard Nimoy will always be Master Xehanort to me. The same way as Christopher Lee will always be Ansem the Wise to me.

For some reason I don't know why but I think that Roy Conli could replace Leonard Nemoy because ever since the announcement of a tangled world at E3 2015 I could hear a potential Master Xehanort voice within Roy Conli's voice. That just my opinion though but Leonard Nemoy will always be Master Xehanort in our hearts may he rest in peace.

No1 can do his voice good as him but his replacement of Xehanort will defently sound a bit different doesnt matter how close itll be to master Xehanort

Its going to be the worst thing about KH3 because no ones voice is similar to leonards. His voice is very distinct fom everyone else on the planet, lets just hope they can get it as good as possible...   May he rest in peace

That really sucks. Leonard's voice was PERFECT for Master Xehanort, so I just hope they get someone with a similar voice.

I think Ed Asner could get close. I haven't seen much of his work, but I remember mistaking him as Nimoy when I first heard his role as Hephaestus (the blacksmith) in the beginning of the Justice League Unlimited episode "Hawk and Dove". Roy Conli actually seems like a likely candidate because of this. The only factor that does prevent him from being Master Xehanort is that he is a producer for Walt Disney Animated movies, because of this, he may be producing for a new Disney movie that's still in its conceptual stage or in current development.

Amen. Corey Burtons voicing for Ansem the wise is admirable but Lee will always be Ansem to me. I loved his voice.

I still say R.I.P Leonard Nimoy but we can't keep grieving and not think of who could replace him.

 

It was too soon when people were asking this question immediately after his announced death. Seriously, that happened.

 

But the time is now.

 

And I believe it should be someone who sounds similar to Leonard.

I think he already did his lines. If Ben Diskin talked about the voice acting and the experience for him and how there is still more content we have not seen, then Leonard Nimoy could have already completed his job and the producers are now cleaning KH3 of any bugs.

Leonard Nemoy was one of a kind. But if I had to fill in his role with someone with a similar voice talent, I would probably pick Christopher Loyd. He's played the villain lots of times and he certainly knows how to do an old man as well. I think he'd be able to do a pretty good Master Xehanort with a vocal tone and style that is similar enough to Nemoy's. Plus, now that we've had Star Wars and Star Trek in KH, I think it's only fitting we get Back to the Future in there too.

Someone similar, yet still distinct. My vote weirdly goes to Hugo Weaving, who's proven that he can do growly villains all damn day and still be nuanced. I don't just want a soundalike, although given that both Xehanort actors are dead, I could see them making MX a silent villain and Ansem/Xemnas take over the majority of his lines.

These are the three actors I thought up so far that should replace Leonard Nimoy for Master Xehanort in the English Dub.

That would be a suitable compromise. Alongside that, he can dress as Xehanort and put it off perfectly if he makes any public appearances regarding Kingdom Hearts 3!
