I don't wear glasses and neither did any of my first degree family members.

I was just curious to see how many of our members wear glasses xD

Does wearing contacts hurt?

Back when I used to cosplay, I was really paranoid about using coloured contacts so in the end never did and ended up having to photoshop my eye colour instead. 'OTL

I really don't need glasses . I'm probably the only one in my whole family .

Soft contacts, no. It bothered me once, when I was in one of my 10th grade classes. I realized something was off when I was looking around. So I covered one of my eyes, then the other to compare, and realized one of my contacts were missing. I was thinking to myself that I did put both of them on. Till later on I felt something was irritating my eye and I ended up picking my eye, and found that my contact was folded INSIDE MY EYE!  So, I unfolded it carefully and put it back in there. I know I was suppose to clean with solution first, then put a drop of solution before inserting, but I wasn't home...

I can't imagine wearing hard contacts and my mom wears them.

I turned blind as a bat three years ago and I need glasses. I love mine~

A lot of people in my family do, but I dont!

I do. Since... always actually. :(

I started wearing it during my High School days... :3

I have worn glasses since I was 4... jeez I look like a hipster with them xD

Been wearing them since Iwas 6.

I only use them for reading, even though I should wear them all the time :

I am practically the only one in my family who has zero eye problems.

Now that I think about it, that worries me.

I'm farsighted, so i needed glasses (though it took a long while). My mom, my sister Corina, my brother Michael, and my dad wear glasses. Though my dad only uses them for reading.

I don't need any glasses since my visions are normal :D but I use glasses in case I do cosplay, especially if the character is using glasses. And of course I use normal lens glasses for the cosplay one :D

Legally blind in my left eye, not much better in my right eye... Yeah, I need glasses.

Been wearing them... for quite a few years now, I forget how long exactly.

-3.75 in both of my eyes since I was 6. My parents aren't much better, but my sister's lucky since she pretty much has perfect vision.

Nope. My right eye is a tad meh, but still don't need glasses.

I'm -4.00 in both eyes, nearsighted.I've had to wear glasses since I was 8 or 9 years old, but nowadays like 98% of the time I'll wear contacts rather than glasses, and only wear my glasses right before I go to bed, or when I just don't feel like putting my contacts in.

Been wearing them for a few years. It's good for my eyesight since I'm blind but I wish I didn't have to wear them. :(

I've needed them for 5 years now, due to far sightedness and possible astigmatism.

I don't need them for reading, weirdly, but things are blurry at distances if I don't wear them in stores or outside. I also can't play a video game, or go online with them, and i'm starting to need them to see the TV.

I'd wear contacts, but putting my finger in my eye terrifies me, so I'm good with lenses.

Normally, I don't wear them.  I've really only needed them for seeing the board at school and driving.  I got them my junior year if high school (2007) so it's been less than 10 years.  My dad wears glasses, but my mom never needed them.  Also, my eyes do a horrible job at teaming so I can't see non-polarized 3D at all, including the 3DS.

I don't currently have glasses, but I'm going to the optometrist next week so that might change. They've been telling me for years "yeah, we could give you glasses, but your vision isn't bad enough that you NEED them." So I'm like, right on the edge of needing them or not.

Both my parents and my brother need glasses, and nearly everyone in my extended family does as well. In fact, I may be pretty much the only one who doesn't have them at this point. X_X

I'm near-sighted without my glasses (I can (more or less) see things up close, but I'm "blind as a bat" when it comes to far-off distances)

Yep, I've needed them for a long time (I think around 10 years now, but I'm not 100% sure). I went a year with contacts, but haven't tried again since then. I might go back at some point, though.

Yes, I need them.
