If you only had one track to choose for KH3, what would it be?

Posted

Just under a month ago, I made a similar thread in which you picked five tracks you'd like to see again in Kingdom Hearts III. However, this time, you may only pick one!

This time around, I had to pick Sora's theme. It really does capture Sora's character of being positive and determined.

A Fight to the Death was close behind for first place.

What about you? What would you choose?

That's a tough one, but I think I'd have to go with Riku. It'd also be amazing to hear Fate of the Unknown again.

I'd like to hear Fragments of Sorrow again. I still think it's the best track for a battle.

Hard decision. I choose a beautifully remade Forze dell Oscurita. Just because I need an epic final battle theme.

Dark impetus(bbs unknown figure theme). That entire track is just hauntingly beautiful.

But seriously, probably The Encounter. Favorite boss theme besides the Lingering Will and Roxas boss themes.

Hand in Hand.

While it's unlikely that Traverse Town wouldn't appear in KH3, but hearing this again would be fantastic.

Edited by Sora is cool

While I love the original track for Traverse Town, I fell head over heels for Traverse In Trance that appears in Dream Drop Distance. I mean even though the track was themed around the idea of sleeping and dreaming, I'd like to hear Traverse Town feature this music in KH3, if it return that is.

Is it like one song you hear for the rest of the game, or just a song to hear somewhere in KH3?

Well, if it was the first thing, then I might choose...

It feels like a "Keep on running!" type of song.

A KHIII version of this track would be mind numbingly insane! X_X

probably going to be in it but still .
I love that one. It's definitely among my favourites! :P

Usually when this music plays , there's a lack of confidence by the villain's side .

This iteration of Destiny Islands fused with the original theme.

there are a load I could and would choose, however being realistic I will choose 'The Encounter' I loved that song during the boss battles, especially the MCP as far some reason that was one of my more enjoyable fights in KH2. and how wouod you use it in KH3? use it as the theme for Disney boss battles again

Don't know it feels more exclusive for 3D.

I'll just go for this one:

Will probably be in it since Twilight Town is confirmed.

It was in Re:Coded as well. ;)

If I really have to pick one, it's "Fate of the Unknown". Incredibly emotional, and honestly overlooked considering how perfect a set piece it presents. It not only samples all of Ven, Terra, and Aqua's themes, but also carries some of the main theme of the series (Dearly Beloved) embedded into the underlying melody, and has all  of the powerful iconic sound that Yoko has become known for wit her KH music.
