With the announcement of Kingdom Hearts 2.8 going to include a movie that will explain the stuff that happens in Chi and Unchained do you still plan to get the game when it releases for you or will you keep playing it after it comes out? For me I probably still will get it since it is, according to what was said at E3 that it was coming out in NA in 2015, and I'm really interested in the gameplay of it as well.  So will you?

I dunno. It seems kind of counter-productive to announce a mobile port of a browser game and then to immediately announce a "movie" of said game for the PS4 before the mobile game is even released.

i think the movie is a different story than the one in X and Un:X

I dunno, what it seems to me is that it's a more in-depth non-playable version of Xchi.

The next title in the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue collection is Kingdom Hearts χ Back CoverKingdom Hearts χ Back Cover is a cinematic movie in which explains the story of the original title, Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] and Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ.

The game is based on your characters perspective, while the movie send to be based off the Foretellers perspective, it is two halves of a whole.

this is the more in-depth synopsis so it sound like we will see what happens when they are not around

"It is a full story about the mystery of the Foretellers happening on the other side of the PC Browser/Smartphone games KINGDOM HEARTS Chi & Unchained Chi that is being recorded as a fully HD video work. It is an important story that expands on the future of the KINGDOM HEARTS series. "

Isn't Unchained free though?

OT: Nope, I never had the intention of getting it anyway. Don't have a mobile platform.

Nope

I don't see why not. Free, sounds fun, and not a mobile game that makes me feel like I'm wasting my time.

They won't be the same game with the same story.

But if it was, I'd replay it in English. I don't have a PS4 to play the game with anyway.

Of course I'll still get Unchained Key!  I want to play the game and experience the story of the Foretellers, and then witness it anew when 2.8 comes rolling around!  It's going to be awesome! :D

Yeah, of course, because they're supposed to be different. I expect the movie to be much more geared towards story, though.

Never planned on getting Unchained X anyway, I couldn't stand the browser version.

It's free to play, so I'll probably download it, at least.

Lux Up times in Japanese time and lag killed me x.x (And not having enough good pulls, I guess xP)

I don't really remember much about Lux Up times and lag, I just wasn't a fan of how automated the combat was. :/ I was also hoping for more involvement with other players.

probably not, now that i've been spared thanks to 2.8

before, i was only going to play it just to learn the story but now that i can just watch it in 2.8 why bother. don't really like mobile games anyways so it worked out in the end

Ohhh, that. Yeah, that fact that you still technically fought Raid Bosses and stuff by yourself is an understandable grievance. No PvP either, although that's not necessarily bad, since PvP can be sucky for games like these

I think that forming a party and exploring areas with team members would be a lot of fun, too. I've seen plenty of browser MMOs that could do that, so I'm not sure why Chi was any different. The big thing about it was that it was online, although the online features were really small. :/

Yeah... It's like they were making a smartphone game from the start owo

I like how the fact that the whole game was in Japanese wasn't an issue at all.

Getting around the language barrier wasn't too tough, it was just the issues I had with the gameplay that bothered me. xD I've imported another Japanese game since playing it, and I didn't really have trouble with it (Then again, it was the sequel to a game I already owned in English, and all of the menus were the same... and it was a rhythm game, so it wasn't tough to learn anyway).

Trust me, I'm not an expert on reading Japanese, but I know that the game will feel WAY too easy for some people once we finally understand what each of those red buttons even say.

But I'm still getting the English Version and probably 2.8. Even X chi was easy once you know what you're doing. Same with Unchained X. If you are gonna get the English version, you may as well skip all the cutscenes in the Japanese version since you won't be able to tell what they are saying yet.

I'm gonna warn some of you: You may be disappointed by the easiness of the game at first, but then it starts showing the strategy behind it. This game has been a blast, and I'm really liking the Japanese version better. There are enough numbers to tell what I am supposed to do.

(That moment when the notes are in Japanese.)

(And now I'm getting off topic so I'll stop here.)

Already did, and would again.  If you don't like mobile games this is kind of moot for you, but as far as mobile games go I see Unchained as being very promising.  I'm not even playing it for the story at all.. (since I can't read it :P).

No mobile game ever starts out at its best from the start imo, all of the best one's take time to eventually grow into what they will be.  I see a lot of potential here, with eventual raids where everybody participates and a variety of other things.  Also of course they don't have that type of thing yet, the servers would explode (look at all the maintenance they had to do so far, its too new for something like that).

I think I will get unchained X because of the gameplay
