LOL. KH has only sold 21 million copies over 13 titles.

Um......is tht good or bad? Honestly I don't really know if that is a lot or a little but im guessing by your LOL, it's not that popular?

It's got a loyal fanbase but it isn't that popular. It's one of Square Enix's weakest A-tier franchises behind Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Tomb Raider and Just Cause.

well to be fair the names are pretty ridiculous

the way they handle news stories pertaining to KH makes sense. it's not a big enough series in their eyes for them to really care about getting all the information down so they just halfheartedly present the brief snippet of news they get about it just to cover their bases

We all know the only franchise IGN cares about is Call of Duty lol

Yeah...that's why Podcast Beyond very rarely talks about it.

When will IGNorant start hiring people that actually care about KH and games in general, and have them review games thinking about their quality instead of their own paycheck?

When shooters and American-made games become unsuccessful, which basically means never for the first.

They do have people that care about KH. The guy who reviewed 2.5 does.

If only there would be more people like him at IGN...

Well more KH fans should apply for jobs at IGN then.

Can't really blame them to be honest

Even I have a hard time keeping up sometimes

Yeah, but they don't even try/care most/all the time.

Well, that's for one of two reasons...Firstly, Kingdom Hearts has been very multi console. Because of this, you are going to lose out on your initial market and start over again.Secondly, Kingdom Hearts 3 is not our yet. Trust me, that title alone will make it more popular than Just Cause!

Just Cause is giving away a real island and its last game released five years ago is still played by hundreds of thousands.

Lol! Of course they'd say this. This is all IGN understands:

That's why KH is discussed more on this podcast than CoD.

let me put it in perspective 21 million copies sold at 50$ each(just to make it easy) comes out to 1,050,000,000 and thats over 13 games, made over a 1,000,000,000

GTA V sold 11.2 million its first day and broke 1,000,000,000$ the first week if i remember correctly

So KH made more money than GTA?Edit: Oh wait. Now I get it

BUT- It IS still an A-tier franchise. And that's what counts. It's still relatively young and budding, but I have a good feeling that over time it'll become more of a household name like Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy.

Also, I really hope they do lower the price for the PS4 over here in the US, I'm in the realm of trying to save up for a PS4 so that would be so cool if they did that by this holiday season or early next year! <3

We have to keep in mind that IGN is made up of hundreds of staff members, one person does not speak for the entire company.

Why does this not surprise me at all?
