    • No; it's fulfilled it's potential. No it's time for something new (maybe another Tim Burton inspired world)

I would love to have Halloween Town back but I think it's fulfilled its purpose! That being said I think there should always be a flavour of Tim Burton-esque so was thinking of alternatives.

One alternative seems like a reasonable one but means straying from classic animation film and going into the remake films which can be good and bad. Anyway what about Alice in Wonderland! We can still acknowledge the original film but move on to this more action packed  and strange film where Alice has grown up! Still to find out if all the Princesses of Heart will be returning in KH3, but this could be a way in for Alice!

Other Disney owned Tim Burton films are Frankenweenie, James and the Giant Peach (I've always thought a Roald Dahl book would be brilliant!) and future films including Dumbo and Alice through the Looking Glass (again could be used if first remake is used)!

What do you guys think?

Not my favourite Disney world, and if they can make it interesting, sure.

I would like for it to return but what else is there for that world?

There's really nothing else for Halloween Town :(

I would only say yes because of the shader. I'm curious about how it would look in the new engine. Also, I think it might be cool if they could almost make the movements stop-motion like. Otherwise, there's not much of a reason to go back unless they want to explore some of the other doors. I'd be up for that.

I really wanted to have Halloween Town as a playable world again in Kingdom Hearts III!  It's one of my favorite worlds in the series, and I just love Jack Skellington and the gang!  But you know, there's still potential for Jack and friends, and you know why?  Well, it's because of the following reason!

Ever since we got the news that the story in Big Hero 6's world in Kingdom Hearts III would take place after the events of the film, it just opened up a lot of opportunities for how Square tackles storytelling with the Disney worlds they implement!  Sure, I'm not saying every world's story will stray from the film, but just think about it!  There could be at least 5 to 6 worlds that have storylines that differ from the films they come from!  Who's to say they couldn't apply this to Halloween Town?  I'm sure that if Nomura found a way, it would be awesome!!! :D

As long they bring back Oogie Boogie back as a boss, I'm fine if they bring Halloween Town back in KH3.

It would be amazing if they could make a storyline from oogie's revenge though capcom has the Rights to that game

I'd love to see it again. It is my favourite world after all.

To be honest, I'd love to visit any old Disney world again in the KHIII engine just to see what it looks like.

Same here: except for Wonderland.

In all seriousness, they could go with the Big Hero 6 route and make the plot of the world entirely original by adding elements from Frankenweenie.

No, I never liked Halloween Town. Even the battle music was horrible.

I'd love to see it purely because of the new engine. There isn't much more they can add in terms of story, but there also isn't anything stopping them from making something up.

It's no where near my favourite Disney movie, but changing the party member's cloathes and other good things made it a very interesting world, thus becoming one of my favourite Disney worlds (although it's no where near to Port Royal, which is my favourite).

EDIT: If they do include it, I want it to be like KH1, big, dark and tricky (like the minigames, Oogie's mansion...), not like KH2, which was small and had nothing to be explored in (the only good thing about it in KH2 was Christmas Town, in terms of map exploring; the story was alright).

I always liked it, but I won't feel too bad if it's not there in any form; it definitely ran its course over so many games. I like that Disney is trying to go with lots of new properties for KH3.

NO!!! Thank you :)

I wouldn't be angry if it was there, but I would much rather prefer a different Tim Burton Film (I personally love Corpse Bride)

I would love it if they gave it a creative reason to be visited. I think it was kind of a stretch to put it in KH2
