There's something quite odd about the delay of the release of the trailers for the D23 Expo 2015 event. After doing some research, I found out that the trailer for the Kingdom Hearts Fan Event at the D23 Expo Japan 2013 was released the same day that the event took place, while it's nearly been a week since the Kingdom Hearts event for this year's D23 event in Japan and we still haven't gotten the trailer. Anyone else find this incredibly suspicious? My thoughts are that Square Enix is either deciding whether or not to release it to the public or they are adding things to the trailers. Either way, if they don't release them soon, I feel like they will lose the respect of many fans considering how many of them are dealing with the situation. Anyone else have any thoughts?

I think they're adding more honestly. It's a slim chance, they put way too much hype into this.event for the.most we receive is screenshotd and a famitsu report.

Don't take this as me freaking out about the trailers. I've already accepted the fact that we might not get them, but I'm curious if anyone has thoughts about why there is a possible delay compared to the last even, that's all.

Again, it's Disney's event so it's likely Disney that decides whether the trailer get's posted online or not. But really everything is so vague about this that it could be due to a number of reasons.

Well I'm just glad I don't have very high expectations of their events. That way I don't need to feel disappointment.

Well based on the summary that we've gotten I'm not really expecting much.

If it releases, great. If it doesn't it won't be the End of the World. Just chillax.

There are probably too many reasons why they did not show it. Who knows if they have something in store that's better in the future?

I too, think it's highly suspicious that we still haven't received any updates on the trailers for Kingdom Hearts III and 2.8!  It could very well be that they're adding more things to the trailers to show us at a later date!  Also, we have to consider the fact that ever since the whole D23 fiasco, Square and Disney have been really quiet on any news regarding Kingdom Hearts!  It makes me wonder what they're up to... 

 

But yeah, if we don't get the trailers, I won't be mad, but I will be sad!

Yeah it's oddly suspicious and quiet, and I only hope that the wait won't be too long. I also find it odd that they held a fan event for Kingdom Hearts and only showed the trailer to the hundred or few hundred people that have the time and money to be able to go to Japan. I don't think that sends a good message to the fans that a fan event is meant only for the fans who can afford to go to it.

OK on topic. I'm not too worried about the trailer. I hope they make it english but if not that's fine too. We already have some insight as to what was in that trailer and it's nothing too great except for the near end part. Yes I would like to see it soon but all good things come in time

No, it's just drama over the trailer(s) not being released over a fortnight after the event (I keep hearing they're going to release one of them publicly at some point).
