Well who do you think is considered the real main character of Birth by Sleep. I think that it's Ven because the whole story is mostly about him because he is the one who will create the X blade and the beggining is about him. Another reason is that Ven fits the stereotype of a main character cause he is the youngest and its about how he becomes stronger and defeats his darkness (vanitas). And he is connected to Sora

Reasons why Terra or Aqua can't be the main characters in my opinon:

Terra eventually uses darkness in the end and ends up being posessed. And later becomes Xehanort the apprentice. The person who gives into darkness is not usually the main character.

And Aqua, even though she saved both her friends in the end, she had no story or goal in the beggining, like Terra's goal was not to fall to the Darkness and deafeat Xehanort (this was in the end), and Ven had to try not to become an X blade and defeat Vanitas. Well Aqua had no goal like that except to be with her friends. And when there is a story with two guys and one girl the mian charcter is usually one of the guys and not the girl (well most of the time).

Well thats my opinion what do you guys think is the real main character of bbs, please vote.

They all play huge parts in the future of the game: thats why theres three storys/three main characters for each.

its all 3 of them, they are all keyblade wielders fighting against xehanort. any of them are just as important as the other

Aqua is the true main character of BBS.

All three of them are the main characters. You can have more than one. But if I must narrow it down to one, I'd go with Terra. He seems like the most important character in the game.

tutti frutti. In a sense they all are the main characters to the game in their own right. Aqua was the female Sora. Terra was an older possessed Riku. And Ven fought himself and went into a coma. They all had important roles that helped us understand how the Xehanort Saga came to be.

Technically all of them. A lot of people like to say Aqua because she had the final boss. I do love playing as Aqua, but I like to go with Ven, just because he was the only one whose story ended in success--he beat Vanitas and destroyed the X-blade, even though it cost him his own heart. Terra ended up possessed (and possibly still is) and Aqua released the crazy man to wreak havoc upon the worlds while she's stuck in the realm of darkness (smart move there, Aqua. You couldn't have picked that moment to be a prude and nag Terra).

 

It was very interesting playing as the three of them and watching things unfold. Terra was really a big sweetheart who happened to have some darkness issues (I find his character closer to Sora's than Riku's at most points--Riku went to the darkness on purpose for power, and tried to kill his friend!). Ventus was a spazz who lacked priorities, but turned right in the end (almost to the point of being emo--that "put an end to me" line always gets me). And Aqua let being a master go to her head on the outside, acting how she was taught by her master and how she thinks she ought to act, but on the inside she never really lost faith in her friends. I just wish she had acted more on what she felt. Her role in Lilo and Stitch always made me mad

Birth by Sleep was a story about many not one on top of introducing concepts like the Ceremony to pass on the power of the Keyblade, Keyblade Masters and the Mark of Mastery.

Aqua is the main character. She always does the most meaningful thing in each world, and only she actually accomplishes things. She's the most important part of the plot. That's why she gets the Last Story.

Obviously Ventus.

Aqua fights the final boss and is the only one in the secret ending. She is also the only "survivor" out of their trio and is the only one to have not screwed anything up. Therefore she is the main character.

All 3 of them are

I think everyone was a hero in this game. (Well tragic heroes because of everything Old Man Xehanort did)

i didn't really think so, but thats your opinion...

All three of them are probably the main characters but if I had to choose one it would be Ventus. Ven's character is so intertwined with Sora and Roxas that it would make sense if he was the main character, not to mention his connection to the villains.

but to put it in an order how much story or importance each one has...

Aqua-Ven-Terra

=> reversed order of playing the story

 

 

Terra has only connections to Riku because of this official ritual

Ven has great connections to Sora because of....you know...Roxas, his heart in Sora etc

but Aqua has the most influences because she met Sora and Riku, made the official ritual to Kairi (unintentional and unnoticed) and because of her Kairi came to Destiny Island and she wanted to make Sora her successor but didn't do it => the one she wanted to make her successor became the hero, that's why she cried in secret ending after Ansem told her Soras name

and she seems to be the main enemy of M. Xehanort because Terra and Ven were easy to make unable to act

 

and she has the most of story to play because she has her normal story, last episode with the final boss and got secret episode in FM
