Ironically despite me siding more with KH3 fans when they argue with KH2 fans, at the time what bothered me the most was I felt 3 ruined 2's story. 2 was and is still my favorite for many reasons, and while I can observe objective flaws about it and feel a lot of 3's strong points go overlooked, I thought 3 invalidated everything in 2. Of course in reality it started with Dream Drop, but idk that was how I felt- the emotional connection 2 made me feel i felt was taken advantage of.

Kh1 chain of memories and 2 still are the kh trilogy to me

They tell together a perfectly open and closed book story

No more significant mysteries

Maybe like one or 2 loose threads

But overall they wrap themselves up so nicely

Unfortunately I try not to let myself think like that- I used to, but (and im not saying this against you Art specifically this is strictly me) if I feel that way, I feel it sets the kther games up for failure in my mind

I'll never get why they chose to animate mickeys mouth like that in 3 onward

And I feel that makes it harder for me to be fair to the other gamez

I'm more impartial to others at this point they all have their ups and downs

Like I kinda prefer bbs to 3d but that's just me

I wouldnt say 3D is better to me now but I kind of soured on things with BBS

Bbs while it retcons quite a bit never steps on other entries toes all that much, unlike 3d

Mostly cause of the "Aqua good Terra bad" debates but also, i kinda respect 3D for going balls to the wall "fuck you we're gonna be confusing on purpose now" lol

I like looking at BBS as a Mickey prequel where you don't play as Mickey and he's barely in it

Unironically reinforced by story beats in 0.2 imo lol

I love when mickeys on the cover of entries he's barely in

But if I had to pick one thing about BBS I dont like (besides the slow dismantling of 2's story( is that it started the whole "everything about Sora is from someone else" thing
