Kingdom Hearts 3D set for July 27, 2012 release in Europe

Well, this is just great, I hope this is legit!! So it seems EU get it after NA? so NA will be earlier than that I assumed?

So wait... 4 months away from kh13?! ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME! FOUR MONTHS AWAY FROM KH13?! Being that long,its going to be VERY HARD to stay away from KH13 and not spoil the Japanese version! I MEAN REALLY 4 MONTHS?! Oh boy... and that's not even counting the time it will take to COMPLETE KH:3D,which who knows how long THAT will take!

I wish I could be excited like everyone else, but the last week of July I have band camp, which is basically going to school two weeks earlier than everyone else.

 

I'd rather have a July release than September release, so I guess its ok.

Either way, how come all the 3DS games nowadays get their release dates for Europe before North America? It's not fair. D: But anyway, in the case of Birth by Sleep and Re:coded, the NA versions came out three days before the European ones, so if this stays true with Dream Drop Distance, and this date IS in fact legit, then we on the State-side of things can expect the game to come out on July 24, 2012. That's a Tuesday, so it's very likely that it'll come out then.

is this kinda like what they did with BbS they announced the EUR release before the NA release? I don't remember, i hope its in July and not September or late August but hey we will get it around that time so should be greatfull for that, I just know its going to be hard to keep spoiling myself from that game and still being able to come on here (with people putting the spoiler in the name of the theard and all) but i will try

In quick response to Update 3 (the boxart) I think we can assume this'll be similar to the NA boxart as well. NA standard logos (such as the ESRB rating and what-not) are generally in the same places as the EU ones.

I'd say it is. Before the last couple years, NA was getting special treatment over EU. But for the last 2-3 years, the EU countries have been getting more special editions and earlier news, which I think is fine. We've had our turn.

Yeah, ever since the 3DS came out, Nintendo has been releasing everything in Europe first, giving Europe the better special editions, etc. Xenoblade and The Last Story were even almost European exclusive games! Sure, release the games in a place where you need to translate the games into a bunch of different languages and will sell less and make less money. That's their logic.

Ehh, I would still look out if I were you. I remember when BbS came out, people would tend to put spoilers in thread titles, and mention things in other sections. Plus all the cutscenes are posted on the front page without spoiler tags, so you might accidentally see something. The sad fact is, this site is terrible if you are trying to avoid spoilers...
