I don't like the KH1 voices.

Woot cant wait for fall to come. But at least i got plenty of new games to keep me busy like KH HD 1.5 (Japanese) and Soul Sacrifice 

I just died.

Woh! I was expecting this to come at E3 but it appeared even before that at PAX East! Didn't see that coming. Can't wait to play this epic game again!

That is is his voice. It's the original younger (pre-voice change) haley joel osment. Thank god they kept it.

The KH1 voices are awesome. They fit the characters. Older sora voice wouldnt make sense in it because sora IS ACTUALLY younger in KH1. It makes sense in the others because he is older or data sora. Interestingly though, they are keeping Billy Zane's voice.

That could have been because the game was dubbed after the release of KH2.

They sound kinda monotone in the Days scenes....

 

well they are Nobodies, they got no feeling in their voice but it was only a few clips so i don't think every scene will sound like that.

 

 

well didn't Haley Joel Osment's voice get lower after kh1? probably impossible to make the KH1 voice for him after KH2 and they made RE:COM after KH2. besides i bet sora could go through puberty in a night and we don't reaaaaaaalllly know how long it took him to get to Castle Oblivion from Kingdom Hearts anyway

If I were to summarize the trailer...

 

During the KH and re:CoM scenes: Aww yeah, trophies, old voices, remastered graphics, final mix version let's do this!

During 358/2 Days: ANGST. ANGST. AAAAAAAAAAAAAANGST.

 

So pretty much looking forward to it!

I don't want the KH1 voices, they don't fit anymore. 

That is NOT Allyson. And it's not Hayden either. Xion sounds horrible.

The japanese music was better remixed in the trailer.

Yeah they did, but I don't see that as a problem because it does take place after KH1. No, it technically doesnt fit the body anymore, and it is a sudden voice change, but  I know personally, my voice changed suddenly. there was no cracking, it was just lower. So it doesnt really bother me. I am just so nostalgic towards the first game's voices, I think it would be bad if they revoiced it. Some games it works, some it does not. I think KH1 would not work. Considering this is supposed to be bringing back the original, they updated the music because the system is capable of live music sounds now, but the original voices made the game what it was. They have such an emotion in them that specifically Haley Joel would not be able to replicate with his current voice. It would portray a slightly different emotion.  

 

 

This is my favorite scene in all of KH1. The emotion in sora's voice is so perfect and it fits him as a child after everything he has been through. Changing it would change the whole game.

Xions english voice really sounds kinda boring in comparison in her passionate japanese voice... (especially at 2:13). I like her tone, it fits to her very much, but she could put more elan into it... Well let's wait for the final version... same goes for Saix and most suprisingly for Quinton Flynn as Axel too?!However Xemnas and Roxas' voices are perfect as always, gosh they know how to lend a heart (hahaha...) and personality to a character.

When KH2 came out Haley's voice had cracked and he had went through puberty. Re:Com was released after KH2. It is impossible for him to do the same voice as when he was younger.

Although I'd prefer Sora in Re:CoM and Re:coded to have the same voice as he had in KH1, I also think that Sora should be Haley's character and his alone. They probably wouldn't have found anybody who sound like his KH1 version anyways, and if they had then he most likely wouldn't be good at voice acting. Chances of finding some which both sounds like him and is a good voice actor is small I'd say.
