Oh, I see where the confusion is. You said "opening" not "first scene" the opening is just the pre-rendered part with Hikari/Simple and Clean [Ray of Hope MIX]. At least, thats what most people consider it. I agree that scene is creepy too, but it's not the "opening" -

I've seen it and yes, it is a message of hope, lots of terrible things happen, but then something really good happens at the very end. That's how hope works, you go through really crappy stuff, but there's something good you can look forward to. -

I think the brown robed figure was able to transfer the power of time travel to Young Xehanort because they are, in essence, the same person. It may be that Young Xehanort is literally only borrowing the power of another version of himself and that the actual power itself resides in "Ansem", and as Young Xehanort has a body he can onky temporarily use the power, which would explain why Young Xehanort and those he brought with him eventually had to return to their own places in time while the brown robbed "Ansem" was able to exist outside his proper place in time for decades.

Maybe, but Sora is the main character, and there are hints that "the key to return hearts" is a power unique to him because of his open-hearted nature and connections to so many others. He's even been referred to as "the key that connects everything" Nomura also said that "the key to return hearts" may not exactly be a Keyblade. Finally in BbS it was retconned that what made the Keyblade of Heart so special wasn't it's ability to unlock people's hearts but that without it, one can not obtain Kingdom Hearts, as it is basically half the x -blade (being made from the hearts of the Princesses of Heart, which themselves are, at the very least, implied to be the light fragments of the x-blade) Also not all Keyblade Masters have the ability to unlock people's hearts only those with a strong power of the darkness. It's not even really so much "unlocking" them as removing them, which is a power shared by beings of Darkness even without Keyblades, such as Maleficent and the Heartless. Dark Keyblade Masters just seem to be able to do it with more finesse. And to me it seems more like what Kairi did was restore Sora's light, thereby freeing his heart from the Darkness, which makes a lot of sense with the Princesses of Heart having the power to hold back Darkness. Remember Heartless are actually people hearts consumed by their own darkness.

Yes, but one of Genie's rules is he can't kill anyone, yet that's exactly what Jafar had him try to do. True, he didn't want to, and he held back as much as possible, but he did try to grant a wish that broke the rules, just not very hard.

Oh wow. i just realized, i might be gettign 2.8 a day early. I chose 2-day shipping on when I pre-ordered, but the 22nd is a Sunday. Mail doesn't run on Suday, so they'd have to ship it out the 21st at the latest. With the projected shipping date beign teh 20th, they may actually stick to that given the circumastances, becasue they have to ensure it gets here by the 24th even if that means it gets here before then.

It also helps that there's a warehouse nearby. I really hope it gets here the 23rd because both me and my BF love the sereis and I'm going over to his place that weeked so we can play it together, but because of scheduling I have to go either the 24th or the 25th. If it gets here the 23rd then I don't have to wait until the 25th to go over with it.

I'm currently waiting for kh 2.8 to download it says 3 hour I also got the theme. But since the theme from my knowledge has no music I probably won't use it and eill probably just use my persona one. Really wish yu coukd customize themes with music, icons and background. Woukd be niceto have the velvet room playing, while having a kh background and icons.

KH, CoM, KH2, Re:Com, Days, BbS, Re:coded, DDD, 1.5, 2.5 Ux, So yep, played each game, at leaste those available in NA, all the same year they released. Sometimes I even bought the consoles specifically for them.

Yiugh Xehanort is from a time before Xehanort was a weilder. If Xehanort was able to fully posess his younger self and doing so allowed Young Xehanort to weild a Keyblade he had yet to obtain, than to me it stands to reason that he can do it to all the members, but only one at a time. After all, let's not forget the reason Xigbar joined Xehanort in the first place. He wanted a Keyblade, and apparently has no problem giving up his selfhood to do so. Kinda crazy that Xehanort technically perfomed the Inheritance Ceremony on himself, yeah? -

These are cool. I'm pretty sure we'll fight all the Seekers of Darknesss throughout KH3, even if they aren't defeated until the final battle, and it would be really cool if, like Young Xeahort, they had access to the Master of Master's Keyblade, but each used a different Keychain with a Transformation that resmbles the original Organization XIII's weapons. -

Attention everyone, I have an announcement to make. I give up. I'm goign to watch all the spoilers for 2.8. I didn't want to, but I jhust don't have the will to resist, expecially since I decided to playd DDD fiest, then watch BC, then finish with 0.2. DDD woudl take me two or three days to clear anyway, addign that the the 12 day wait for localization.

I don't know why no-one ever asked that or why I only just now thought to do so AFTER the JP releases of 2.8, But do you think DDD will have new Memoirs for 0.2 and Back Cover? Like, maybe they unlock after clearing those titles?
