One thing I can forsee being a problem is the younger 3DS owners who get their 3DS games from their parents. Not all young kids are going to seek out game news and know about this, and their parents are less likely to do so. I can imagine there will be kids asking for Xenoblade, their parents buy it for them and low and behold the 3DS won't play it. Then the parents will march angrily to the store to be told, 'Oh, that game is for the "new" 3DS'. Parents aren't going to like this upgrade cause there really isn't much visible difference in the model.

I haven't bought any of the recent pokemon games and usually lose interest in the games I have played pretty quickly. So I wasn't going to get this game, but the preorder bonus changes everything. I might even preorder two and give a copy of the game to a friend.

It doesn't matter what games they're playing. This shouldn't happen to gamers no matter what games they play. Don't fall into the same trap of people who think all games are evil and corrupt minds.

I'm done with taking Japanese classes, just done. It helped me out a lot getting started, but at this point all the classes are teaching me are how to pass Japanese tests. I know how to learn a language for myself better than they can teach it.

That's weird. Is Oregon also having problems? It could be that water in the north is being transported to the south and is causing shortages statewide. Just a guess though, I'm not too informed about it all.

California is a desert too, they just planted a lot of palm trees and other plants in the cities. But if you go outside the cities it's all desert. My uncles live in California so I worry about how they'll be.
