    The line about his new duds being Sephiroth's fault isn't really literal so much as it is the JRPG trope of trying to make sure that everyone knows your hero is angsty by making all of his dialogue needlessly directed towards that angst. As for Tifa being a figment of Cloud's imagination, I'm not really seeing it outside of people wanting to take circumstantial evidence (her only appearing in Cloud and Sora's scenes) and making it into something else entirely.

    I actually think that this would be a good idea. Taking some time to chill with your buddies and having a gameplay mechanic reflect it would be cool. Like the higher a friendship level, the harder they fight, or something.

    The real joke is the amount of political apathy among youth means that the section of the eligible voters that doesn't want him to be president will be outweighed by the older conservative demographic who vote more regularly, and thus his chances are increased by the very people who resent him the most.

    Sorry, but K. Rool has all of my votes. As big a part as Kingdom Hearts might have been to me, Donkey Kong Country was my childhood, and the king of crocs needs to curbstomp some characters at long last.

    Actually, the films have a lot of people which might be considered NPCs. A ton of mermaids show up for the concert recital at the start of the Little Mermaid, and the market place in Aladdin is swarming with people. If they wanted to, I'm sure they could recreate a few stock characters to wander about the worlds, if they put the time and effort in. Given the way that the games are designed, there are distinct stages where you are safe, and places where you do battle. Presumably, the NPCs would be in the places where fighting isn't going to take place. ...Um, you kind of just answered the second problem. Unless your saying that this shouldn't be the case? I guess signalling that there are no Heartless around might cut the tension, but again, that's how all of the games have been produced thus far, so it's not like they'd be reinventing the wheel on this one.

    New trailer came out yesterday. Nothing really new here if you've watched any playthroughs of the playtesting, but if you haven't, it mostly shows off some of the new enemies and such.

    I don't mind the change from turn based, but I'm really hoping that we get to still control the other people in our party. If they implemented a system like XII where you can switch which person you're controlling quickly, I think it'd be fine.
