Doubtful considering we can just download extra content instead of having to buy the entire game again, and also because its releasing on both PS4 and Xbox One so that'd be a whole other system to release it on. DLC is probably how it would happen.

Two reasons. 1). They wanted more power and could obtain that by siding with Xehanort OR 2.) They were tricked like the original Organization into believing they had no hearts and thought that if they allowed Xehanort to turn them into vessels, then could obtain Kingdom Hearts and regain their hearts.

I think the only hope for them is for Nintendo to pull a Bayonetta with Megaman

Keyblade DLC as a weapon in XV? Or Noctis outfit in KH3? There won't be any XV bosses in KH3 though, the games will be too new to do that. Most likely it will be FF13 content considering the whole time traveling thing used in 13-2 and KH 3D

If you notice Xemnas, Saix, and Xigbar also talk about gaining control of a vessel in the game. Nomura referenced KH3D in a game 5 years before it... or perhaps Days referenced 3D? Either way its just something neat that gave me a mini fangasm

No it'd still be ending, it would just explain what happened to Aqua while in the RoD

That doesn't mean they couldn't go back and make the game after KH3, kind of like what they did with 358/2 Days being released after KH2
