Well, it's been awhile but Sonic Mania Plus is coming! I hope you're all excited as i am.

Ooh, I am particularly excited for Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT! As a fan of the Dissidia series, I was psyched up as hell when it was announced that a new entry would be made! I played the hell out of the first two games, particularly Duodecim, so when news of a new entry sprung up, I was reasonably excited! I had read that it would be a reboot of the series, but thankfully, the story seems to be a direct continuation of Duodecim's story, which makes me even more happy! That, and the fact that this will be the first Dissidia game to feature online matches against other people, so it'll be riveting battling against other players around the world with all of these epic Final Fantasy characters! There's supposed to be over 50 characters overall, but the base game will have 28, which makes me think the rest shall be given to us little by little via DLC packs, ya know?  But yes, I wanna get this game badly!

Man that video was such a long time ago I'm pretty sure everybody has disproven MatPat 20 times over by now. And because he's MatPat, he completely ignores everybody's counter arguments, lol. Anyway, yeah I'm pretty sure most of the fan base agrees that Sonic is at least that fast. The flaw of MatPat's videos is that he's trying to use the video games' portrayal of Sonic's speed as a literal example and definition of how Sonic's speed works, completely ignoring that Sonic's speed is handled and portrayed differently in each game. Realistically, if Sonic was going 100% in any game, he would be killing every environment and creature he came across just by running past them. Sonic literally holds himself back from going all-out in every game he's in, it's just that in some games he lets loose a bit more from time to time, and not always to the same degree. So you have either brief incidents like what you just described where he shows at least a sample or fraction of what he's truly capable of, or whole games where he's intentionally using bigger or smaller cups of his potential depending on the tasks at hand and the fun he wants to have, like Unleashed.
 
Another problem is that MatPat tends to mush game, show, and comic lore altogether to try and fit whatever narrative he's trying to give his hypothesis, but he's very selective in how he does this and doesn't appear to do that all the time. Like for instance he used both the games AND the Archie comics to try and find some sort of explanation about the Chaos Emeralds true nature, but in his video on Sonic's speed, he stuck purely to the games (and again, used them literally). If he was consistent and actually serious about what he was doing, he would have also used the Archie comics to analyze Sonic's speed, and as such probably would have noticed the infamous moment in the comics where he literally sprints all the way to the opposite coast of the continent, revs up, and blasts forward at full-throttle (or at least near-full-throttle) within very few seconds into Eggman's new mech of the week. Unfortunately that only served to dent the mech's shield and little else, but it served as both an example of what both Sonic and Eggman were truly capable of. But of course, in the world of MatPat everything only exists to conveniently prove his specific point only and consistency is only useful if no one calls him out for it. Yeah I'm a bit salty towards Game Theory in case that wasn't obvious.

Really only thing im looking forward to the rest of the year is dlc, ffxv comrades, ep ignis and botw pack 2. P5, botw, zodiac age, 1.5 and 2.8 were all the purchase i needed this year. And thats honsetly more games than ive bought in years

If this is too much, can you remove this post? I hope I'm posting this in the right spot. 
 
I just want to vent about this. I don't know how to go about saying it. But I'm going to try and just vent about. 
 
I'm sure a lot of us, hear this kind of sayings: "You are 27 close to 30 years, old. You need to dress up like you're an adult." "You are into the weird stuff." "Don't you think you're too old playing video games, collecting toys (Action Figures), etc." 
 
These sayings weighs me down like gravity. It really upsets me to a whole. The more I hear things like this, the more fear is added on. And the more the fear is added on to me, the more determine I am to get things that I want, no matter what people say about it. 
It's like as I hear talk like this, it's like I'm being pressured to "GROW UP" and do adult-y things. Go out and mingle with people, not stay home and play video games, get myself a man and start a family, go shopping with women, etc. I get nagged at over mingling with people and finding myself a boyfriend. 
Thinking about this makes me want to just not even both people in general, in real life. Just go to my future job, do my hours, talk to people and be sociable yes, but not do adult activities with them. Just sit in the sidelines and watch the crowd from afar. 
I've been called anti-sociable my by late aunt when I was a kid. I'm very shy, but I do pick and choose who I want to talk to. There are topics that I don't want to talk about, but yet talking about anime and video games comforts me.
 
Is it wrong that I'm 3 years close to being 30 and I enjoy topics like that? Is it wrong that I want to add a little excitement and flair to my clothes (clothes that I want to take a break from the dressy casual kind), no matter how many times people would think that I'm not my age?  
I'm just filed up with these opinions, these sayings, and the whole talk that I need to contribute to society. The adult fear is eating me alive but yet it adds fuel to my burning determination. All I wanted to do is add a little excitement to my life and remember things, that I could possibly share to someone younger.  I'm aware of what I am now, but that's what I want to do and not care of what people thinks.
