    After finally decided I will play some of the Final Fantasy games. The one thing I learned is stay away from Fanboys. They completely bash a lot of games that are actually good and pretty decent.

    It's more of a matter of opinion. As someone who was a fan of the older FF games, the new ones don't appeal to me. I just don't personally like them, it's not blind hate.

    I keep hearing about Fire Emblem. Is it a good game. If so what's the chronological order of the games.

    It is basically like Final Fantasy, where most don't relate to each other. The most friendly game to newcomers is definitely Awakening.

    To call Guy's flashback important is a huge overstatement. You could do without it and it wouldn't change anything at all. That said, Guy is my favourite anime character ever so I'm ok with however long this flashback lasts.

     

    @soravids: Who knows. It's almost near its end but who knows what other fillers they have in store. Might not even finish this year.
