Oh, it definitely has the potential to be a "hot mess", I don't disagree with that at all. There's so much to cover and so much that hasn't been done yet that they're leaving for KH3 that it does very much have the potential to end up a train wreck if not handled properly. While I disagree that character development is strictly needed for a good story because static characters have a place too (one could argue that Sora is EXTREMELY static) it's apparent that most of the characters are supposed to be dynamic or at the very least, well rounded. Out of all the characters Kairi probably is the one to worry about the most since she's the least focused on outside of being a plot device and KH3 is a terrible time to just start worrying about her development. After a decade and seven games, depending on how they go about it, focusing more on her during KH3 could be more detrimental than helpful since there is so much to wrap up. Either her inclusion will be rushed, will push other characters to the side, or her involvement won't be all that much different than in other games, she just happens to be a wielder while she fulfills her usual role. While I understand the want from the fanbase to have her included more and doing more important things rather than being passive, for KH3 I prefer that she take a back seat. Mostly. KH3 is the climax/ending of the Xehanort Saga and the bunk of the character development and characterization should have happened already. At this point I think it would be rushed and if they really want to flesh her out properly, wait for the next saga where they can virtually start over with a new leaf.

You know, now that I think back on it I don't think my dad was even aware that games had age ratings... He's sort of the "all games are for kids/are all family friendly" kind of fellow. My mom was aware though.

Being 22 I don't have worry about that kind of thing, lol. But before? Iunno. I don't pay at to the age ratings for a games but the ones I'm interested in happen to be below M, usually. I don't I ever asked my folks for an M game though less because I wasn't allowed but I never bothered asking. I have a couple M games now though.

Terra was more of a direct thing as opposed to other characters like Braig who had been (willingly) seeded. I'd say that MX convincing Terra to recklessly indulge in the darkness was a safety measure to help in MX's dominance over him as he knew Terra wouldn't be able to control it and eventually be smothered by it along with MX's own darkness. Of course it didn't turn out the way he had planned but I'd say MX trying to have Terra submit to darkness was him being concerned with his sense of self.

Sora's a hacker.

The Kingdom Key had an unusual creation as Sora accidentally tampered with it when he pulled it from Riku's heart. There's an oooooolllllldddd interview where Nomura mentioned that the KK was different because it was made through Sora and Riku's connection or something or other so I should try and dig that up. If the KK has some sort of connection with the X-Blade I'd say it's because it used a fraction of the recipe needed to create it.

Aside from being strong Xehanort needs candidates that are completely submissive so that the seeding can work properly. When it was said that Roxas was a worthy candidate I took it more as meaning that his unusual state made him ideal for seeding. As the characters liked to say Roxas was a "zombie" because unlike most Nobodies he had no memories, no sense of self, and therefor no defense. Until later. Him being exceptionally strong was more of a bonus to him being an easy puppet at one time. Basically Roxas being complemented on being a worthy candidate just means he's being called brainless. As far as Sora and Roxas strength goes I place them about them same with Sora being a little stronger. Roxas technically had more time with the Keyblade but Sora has the "My Friends Are My Power!" cheat code.

Ten games in one year? Doesn't sound too difficult, especially considering you're familiar with about half of them.

I'd say the PS3 is the better option.

I really hope we don't get mass scenarios for KH3...I'm not a fan of them. At most I'd tolerate a short scenario akin to Reverse/Rebirth and Roxas's at the beginning of KH2. Scenario 1: I see it get suggested a lot that Kairi should go to the RoD to rescue Aqua because she's a PoH but I think this is a really, really, REALLY terrible idea. Because she's a PoH. The over all idea of purposely having Kairi do something dangerous is a bad idea for multiple reasons. I take her beginning her training as a means to have her protect herself in the case she gets into a sticky situation rather than have her go on missions. I'm not sure about the some worlds not returning thing. I took it that they all returned or got stuck in the RoS but I'm sketchy on some of 3D's details. Scenario 2: Ansem the Wise left data inside Sora's heart that's supposed to be the secret of reviving some of the ones in torment, I take it it directly relates to Roxas, Namine, and Xion. With that said I don't think Roxas being revived in that way will quite work. For all intensive purposes he's still Sora's Nobody and being born in that manner would make him physically less stable. Namine flicked in and out of existence after being near Kairi for too long and Roxas disappeared into Sora I take it by just standing near him as well so I don't think that method is ideal. Scenario 3: No disputes here despite it being Riku and Mickey's mission. I think they'll certainly aid though. Final Scenario: No disputes here either since that is pretty apparent, lol.

LOL! It'd be great to have him as Kairi's adoptive father/mayor of DI for the lulz of it. Besides, it's KH. All the characters are AU versions of themselves and don't have to adhere to the rules of their FF counterparts. I don't want him as a replacement for Sephiroth but I think it's be great to purposely stick him some where awkward.

He smiles pretty much for the reason the first poster said: to reassure Donald and Goofy. It's also a nice round about because when Sora first met them Donald told Sora he had to smile. It was because of Sora's funny face that they had their first real laugh/good memory together. Before he impales himself Sora decides to give Donald and Goofy one last silly smile, only this time it can't make them laugh.

KH3D is notorious for not only being the most buggy KH game but being one of the most current buggy games period. You can go to Youtube and find a butt load of videos about glitches that people encountered. The Japanese version was actually worse. There was this one glitch in TWTNW in Riku's story where you fell through the floor of a stair case (I think they fixed it in the NA version?) and I think it was instant game over. From what I understand they fixed some of them in the NA version but it's still pretty bad.
